  • Are you Scottish? Great demo btw.

  • CAn I have batteries in this one or do I need somekind of cable?

  • @BassOMasta Works with a 9Volt under the body of the unit or the power from the AC on the back. :)

  • @BassOMasta Although it can use a 9 volt battery, I'd HIGHLY recommend getting an AC cable. Boss pedals are battery hogs.

  • Would you recommend the DD3, DD6 or DD7? They are all so similar.

  • @RedSandStudios I just got the latest one. Usually their newer stuff has better features. :)

  • @RedSandStudios Go with vintage Japan, all the new Taiwan delays sound very thin and metallic! I recommend the DD3 Japan, DD2 Japan, DM2 Japan. They beat easily any Tc electronics gadgets :-)

  • Why do some people just buy an analog when for the same price as this with a bunch more of features? Does that make sense?

  • @eleattadiver I totally agree, it has an analog feature on here :)

  • @eleattadiver Analog sounds better. Check out the Maxon Analog Delay pedal. Sounds much better than the DD7 in my opinion. The MXR Carbon copy delay is a nice analog delay pedal too. Not saying the Boss isn't a good Delay pedal but IMO the analog pedals sounds a lot nicer.

  • Nice!! that pedal is so amazing. You can do a lot of sounds with it.

Check out my vid, i think you would like it...

  • Would this pedal be good for Paul Gilbert playing. You know, like Get Out of My Yard?

  • i think it would be much better to go with the dd-3 and a loop station, the dd-3 has the oscillate thing which is badass and with the loop station you can loop for days, thats what im doing at least, great review though you helped make my decision

  • hi new guitarist,

  • that record thing ? how long can you record ? can you store it ?

  • @rrgert4 up to 40 seconds and i dont think so but you might get multiple layers im not sure

  • @nhlturtle87

damn i checked the price.. wow ok i cant afford, isnt there like a cheap pedal for this

  • @rrgert4 behringer makes one but it doesnt have a long looper its like 2 seconds lol

  • @nhlturtle87

2 seconds.. wow thats not much

  • @rrgert4 you could try behringer

  • @intheblues they have multiefect pedals that have 10 sec

  • does this model allow its full delayed effect to ring out when it has been turned off or just the delayed effect come to a dead stop like with the DD3?

  • Those are cool effects, you should check out this true bypass looper too, watch on You Tube ID "xj7P-ajPeZM"

  • there is a knob for that , that are range

  • so... i cant really set the delay to the time i want ??? just like 50ms 800ms and 3200ms!? That would suck

  • @putenmeister no, those are the maximum you can get if you turn the delay time all the way up, so if you were to turn the delay knob all the way up and have the mode set as 3200ms, the time between the repeats would be 3200ms IIRC.

  • @HitmanJenkins1 it has tap tempo as well

  • @sweetell2 that has put his question in a slightly different context...

  • Interesting demo - and I really like your more negative comments in real strine!! - a stupid question from a bit of a dinosaur singer/guitarist, can I plug in a mic as well to do all that k t tunstall stuff, just basic tambourine, hand claps etc...,

    Thanks. Tim

  • @nondescript11 Hi Tim,

It's just a delay pedal, one line in and two line outs (one is mono two is stereo) It's not really a looper so to speak, but you can loop to some extent with a function called Hold :) Hope this helps

    Shane

  • @intheblues Thanks Shane - I realised that what I was really after was a looper, so I've ended up with an Akai Headrush. Keep up the good work! Tim

  • @nondescript11 yes you can, just use lxr to instrument cable and plug it from your mic to the pedal to the amp/pa

  • @nondescript11 I think what would be of interest to you is getting a small portable mixer and a RC-2 loop station or the akai headrush (KT tunstall uses).

  • @griffinthecity ..... which, in the end, is exactly what I did! Thanks for responding anyway. Great toy!!

  • AWESOME buy!

  • I`ve wished this pedal for christmas, if I do end up get it, im pretty sure im gonna love it, it seems awesome.

  • very cool demo, Shane ! 10 stars !

    Stu

  • Cheers man! :)
