M T 's story in a village background-60 yrs ago- probably difficult to appreciate to the present day youngsters. Yusef Ali had made good screen play, though the lyrics were of Sararath. It should have been better if it was little more expanded about the story of the girl who committed suicide? A typical village tragedy in those days.. Technical aspect is ok.. good camera work and Lal Jose's direction too...-It is nice to see without age old malayalam film heroes-vj.
A very disappointed movie. Started watching with very interest and all off a sudden the director lost his control, lots of missing events, and events happening with no sequence. Its is real failure from direction side.
Fear from the direction side was highlighting all the sequence of this movie. What happened? lal jose lose all his guts? Amma and samvrita acted very well. The hero and heroine also tried very well. But, moreover they don’t know what to act….! But it’s a worth watchable movie.
What MT and LalJose trying to say in this movie - there is no story line, pretty disappointed with this flick, MT could have make some changes in the screenplay(eventhough it is a remake) or atleast for the new generation - we have seen many love stories - but this totally disastrous. Reema and Kailash have done their part brilliantly, nice camera work ,music, lyrics and background score - The title and the belief has nothing to do in this film.
@itsnazeaf Im 20 and grew up in the US, and this guy called Prasad is by far the cutest guy ive been in malu films! I don't even find Prithviraj or Kunchacko Boban attractive.
But this guy is hot! He looks Gujju.
Its just a matter of opinion. Its totally cool if u don't find him attractive! But I do! ;)
@shahloverno1 well i didnt mean to offend you...but in Kerala nobody gonna say one man is hot coz of his fit body or white skin..they all look at the black thick mustache(spelling error?) and their commanding presence..and thats why Mammooty been ruling the industry for decades and thats what Prithviraj will do for another few decades...(wow..that was a long reply..)
@itsnazeaf LOL I know the popularity of the thick mustache!! But I can't stand seeing it! I think all these actors: mammotty, mohanlal, prithviraj, etc are great actors who know what they are doing! I just don't find any of them attractive! cultural barrier i guess..
