Whats with the negative comments on here. The scratching was clean and funky. And for those who say that scratch DJ's need different sounds to use then you dont know about DJ'ing. That sound he is using is the age old sound that us DJ's use to practise with and you gauge a DJ's skills from how he scratches with thator the fresh sound. Go buy a DJ album and Im sure you will hear a lot of different samples but when you are practising or showing your cutting skills that sound is the one's DJ's use.
sweet set! With the dmcs, what mixer can you enter with nowadays? i got a ttm56s, can you enter with that? i see that you use a hak(380?) - so do you have to use what they got or can you bring your own? ta
As they have say before scratch is about innovation...nowadays you win by using juggling and new Style scratch not the sane beat/scratch as babu in the 90's
i kind of disagree with that. i think a nice set particularly where scratching is concerned needs to have some structure and thats what we see here. scratching is the messiest bit of the set so it needs control and context so this is good i think no?
Of course its good i cant doubt that his style is clean and nice.
But in MY POINT OF VIEW i think that jugling and new style have more importance but i respect you opinion and you have right in the way that scratching is the mesiest part and of course that the Dj must have a good control and context but you can still have control and context fusing it with innovation
Everyone is using the same scratches nowadays its almost sounding like a casio keyboard preset.
Scratching needs some fresh ideas to survive the next decade. Need to bring a bit more personal flair back to the routines and more creativity. That beat is also dull.
yeah same here this is highly original routuine. but it still sounds (funkkky lol) ..i give u mad credit still. i like the reocord on the right deck. 1st heard it on dj mouss 99'.
good scratching but f all that intro scratching scratchin mix it up some more , some played out sound that everybody has been using with ur skill I expect more creativity , Ive heard routines like this a million times but mad props
@DjRocHound this is just fooling around. you can do better, i know you can. not all who have a mixer and some turntables are dj's. cmon, do some good stuff man ! :)

thebetterhalf37 2 years ago
1.the mixer is an ecler hak 360, i'd say the best battle mixer beside rane ttm series.
2.the record is a dj daddy k partybreak record called "BREAK BEATZ" which i found only once.
