Cool idea, but what are you going to cover/seal/paint it with? That's been my problem, I really want this type of background but can't figure out what I should use to cover it. The only type of background I've done is the expanding foam style for poison dart frog vivariums.

Nothing special. But with a fine grain and mix it fairly thin.
