  • so idk... i think you need to continue the odd passenger series... haha. i havent read the graphic novels yet. but i completed the final book a few months ago. i really enjoyed these webisodes. i think your team can do wonders with them.

  • A friend of mine, who reposted Dean Koontz's recent news post about how excited he is about the upcoming movie, also shared the first webisode.

    Bravo, you nailed it!

I love this little side trip, this short story about Odd's adventures on his way out of Pico Mundo and into Magic Beach. Thank you for your hard work! (and yes, the music lent the perfect atmosphere.)

  • @Jaguwarps THANKS so much!! We really enjoyed making this for Dean and Random House. We have a great little video of Dean at comicon talking about these on our website. I can't put a URL here on youtube but I'll give it a shot " double u double u double u dot rungoatrun dot kom" - Go to the media section and you can check it out! :) Thanks again!

  • i stumbled on these while searching for webisodes because my students want to do some and wow I love these. I am a fan of Dean Koontz.

  • @sutphen3 THANKS!!! that's great about your students, they're going to have fun doing them... especially if it's their own story!

  • Nice job. Is there a standard length for a webisode? 5 or ten minutes?

    Just curious.

    Just curious.

  • Nice job. Is there a standard lengtht for a webisode? 5 or ten minutes?

  • Very well done. I'm thinking of doing some comedic webisodes myself.

Is there a standard length per episode?

  • I'm a huge fan of Oddie!!! Damn this video is so awesome!!! Great Job!!!!

  • I love Dean Koontz so much his writing is great!! I have read every book he has published just finish what the night knows n wow i i cant wait for more. He cant write fast enough for me. I love the webesodes. Are there any more on this? Did they think of doing the Frankenstien ones? I know there was a movie on it but Koontz didnt like the way it was done or something. So it would be interesting to see some webesodes of that all so. I want more lol

  • Very nicely done! Especially the music- that can make or break a film. Yours pretty much made it- aside, of course, from good writing, good casting, good acting, good filming, and good locations ;)

  • @VentureCrew007 - Thanks a lot! Always appreciate it! I really enjoy writing music, and I agree with you about how music can sometimes ruin an otherwise great film. It's really hard to think of really awesome movies that have a really bad score. Thanks for the great comment. it's our fuel.

  • i found these videos by random but am a big fan of Dean Koontz books these were amazing. thank you for sharing this with all of the fans.

  • @The2009Tbg Hey thanks! really appreciate hearing that! We loved making this!

  • odd thomas fan here :) these are really cool trailers...im off to buy odd hours i think..

  • @MrCrustyManMeat I am an Odd Thomas fan and what I found funny about your statement is that I enjoyed the first two books but found the third a little dry. But read it through the end and now am reading odd hours. The series is over all spectacular and this mini series was very good. It just makes me want to see Idd on the big screen or silver.

  • I really, really enjoyed this short. I must admit to not enjoying the first Odd Thomas book but felt compelled to read Forever Odd and Brother Odd. I still do not know why. I am now a firm fan of this series of books and have just bought Odd Hours. I will also be buying the two graphic novels.

  • @MrCrustyManMeat THERES TWO GRAPHIC NOVELS O.o

i knew that there was In Odd We Trust, but what the other one?

  • @MDLuffy8 Odd Is On Our Side is the latest one.

  • @MrCrustyManMeat cool, i gotta get that, then

  • I have read all the odd books. I enjoyed this web film. The power of the musical score makes for a different perspective on odds character. Cool.

  • This was great. I'd like to see more.

  • To see the character of Odd, someone who is always in my imagination while reading, brought to "life" is absolutely amazing. Thank you so much for these shorts!!!

  • i agree with @imbatman1995 and @oldshoesftw. But you have to admit on the budget they probably had to do this with it was a great short. The little things have to be let aside. (unless of course your obsessed with the series. In which case I understand.) Cant wait for a full movie (or hopefully a tv series so that the full aspect of the series can be shown in detail). Ive said my fill so peace out all!!!

  • haha. did it bug anyone else when boo got on the bed and it moved? or am i the only one nerdy enough?

  • @imbatman1995 Yep, since boo is a ghost. Also you can see the cameraman shadow at 0:46. Things like these happen. Awesome series ^^

  • could have been better.

  • THAT'S it! This needs to be a series on tv right NOW. Awesome.

And while I am not 100 percent convinced on the acting, Anthony Marks has Odd's narration down perfect! Well done boys!

  • very cool :)

  • Odd thomas is an amazing book! Reading forever odd at the moment, love it!!

  • Great Job, I really enjoyed that. I am very much considering buying this book, which means that these trailers can be very successful! ]

  • The Odd Thomas book were really good actually. Dean Koontz has been a NY Times #! best selling author countless times! You can't go wrong with his stuff, ever. Thanks for taking the time to watch, really appreciate it.
