As much as i would like Per gessle to have written this song .......he didnt. It was written by Rick Nowels, to whom wrote "heaven is a place on earth", "circle in the sand " and "leave a light on". When I bought this single back in 1996 as a prelude to the release of "A Woman and a Man" I knew that musically Belinda was going down a different path. As Miles Copeland of Ark 21 Records in the USA called it, a more Adult Contemporary work. I think the album from which this track came is among Belinda's best work with some genius songs. Sadly something wasn't right as she didn't continue working with the same team. Check out Voila her 2007 French pop album!

I just got back from Sutri and it was a thrill to see this square. I've had this record since it came out. I'm a big fan of Jimmy Iovine, Rick Nowels, Charlotte Caffey, and all the rest. This is an excellent production. As a professional musician I do listen. But the 'where' counts when you love a song this much.
I've got this song in my Complete Nineties collection which they were selling off in Kmart a couple of years back, I was listening to it quite a bit soon after I got it, and I've found myself to be listening to it again, it's quite enjoyable to listen to. She's sung some good songs has Belinda, I prefer her version of Summer Rain to Slinkee Minx, mainly because it's the original I guess.

She's short aND chunky-not elegant like Audrey Hepburn her face is broad too so they should not have used the audrey hepburn look for her; it makes her look unattractive. She's attractive though.
Audrey suffered from malnutrition during WWII and never recovered. Belinda might be a little chunky at times (such as now again) but I didn't make the Hepburn connection here. In some of these pics she looks as emaciated as Hepburn, in others she has 'meat' on her again. S/FX.

As much as i would like Per gessle to have written this song .......he didnt. It was written by Rick Nowels, to whom wrote "heaven is a place on earth", "circle in the sand " and "leave a light on". Not taking anything away from Per Gessle he IS a fantastic songwriter...He did however write " always breaking my heart" for belinda.

When I bought this single back in 1996 as a prelude to the release of "A Woman and a Man" I knew that musically Belinda was going down a different path. As Miles Copeland of Ark 21 Records in the USA called it, a more Adult Contemporary work. I think the album from which this track came is among Belinda's best work with some genius songs. Sadly something wasn't right as she didn't continue working with the same team. Check out Voila her 2007 French pop album!

No. Who she looks like doesn't matter. But then if people find it fascinating to talk about that - what's wrong with it? As for where it was shot - you're wrong. That is very important. I just got back from Sutri and it was a thrill to see this square. I've had this record since it came out. I'm a big fan of Jimmy Iovine, Rick Nowels, Charlotte Caffey, and all the rest. This is an excellent production. As a professional musician I do listen. But the 'where' counts when you love a song this much.

I've got this song in my Complete Nineties collection which they were selling off in Kmart a couple of years back, I was listening to it quite a bit soon after I got it, and I've found myself to be listening to it again, it's quite enjoyable to listen to. She's sung some good songs has Belinda, I prefer her version of Summer Rain to Slinkee Minx, mainly because it's the original I guess.

She's short aND chunky-not elegant like Audrey Hepburn her face is broad too so they should not have used the audrey hepburn look for her; it makes her look unattractive. She's attractive though.

Audrey suffered from malnutrition during WWII and never recovered. Belinda might be a little chunky at times (such as now again) but I didn't make the Hepburn connection here. In some of these pics she looks as emaciated as Hepburn, in others she has 'meat' on her again. S/FX.
