You know, I thought I had no more tears left in me but I was wrong. I am one of the lucky few I guess to have gotten the chance to meet him. My parents got me backstage passes and tickets. Anyway I got to talk with him for twenty minutes while he signed his hat for me and I gave him a rose and teddy bear. My friend said to him that he and I was just alike in spirit. Well, my friend told him how much we were alike and he smiled and said oh really and interesting. We talked about that and other stuff like his music and my fav song. But the rest I like to keep personal to myself. Like the promise I made to him.
Mine too. When I returned to the U.S. after living in Germany for about 3 1/2 years my husband & I went to a friends house for dinner. They said we had to eat in a hurry so we could all watch the Ed Sullivan show because the Jackson 5 were going to be on. When I first saw them I remember screaming OH MY GOSH look at that darling little guy! I followed him and love him from that day. I'm pretty old! I saw the movie yesterday & cried, smiled, and cried again.
I just got back from watching it again. I smiled through the tears. God I miss him so much. My music lives on through his and my heart beats only for the innocent. Hope that makes sense. I remember listening to his music when I was four and dancing to abc by the jackson 5 . He brought music to another level. When he passed away, it was like the world stood still. I didn't hear the sound of the wind blow or the birds singing. It was like the world was mourning a loss of its own.
I think a lot of fans thought the same thing...it was, after all, total shock. We all thought he was about to go to London. The world did stop....but his music will live on forever and his memory will never fad.
I know. Im crying sry so if I mess up its bc today marks the one year mark that my 28 year old cousin died a the hands of others. I lost two of my friends. My cousin and I grew up together so we were like brother and sister. I looked up today and smiled bc he loved MJ too. I "told" Mj he better teach him the moonwalk for his birthday lol. I really miss them.

if you look closely at 0:58 you will see the sick child let go of the nurses hand. the child could not have been more than 3 or 4 years old. he let go because he knew who michael was. the child wanted to put his arms around michael and get a kiss from michael. children knew he was an angel on earth. If we do not have the money, then we can all give our time. We can volunteer. I am working for Crisis over Xmas... just two days as that is all i can get off work. But the important thing is that i am doing it. We all need to give our time.

Totally agree with u. The problem is that people no longer believe in themselves. We are so caught up with selfishness, greed and vanity which in turn we fail to see that we are here to help one another. I pray everynight that the entire world opens their eyes soon.....it's not too late to heed MJ's message. His work here is done but we have the power to bring his dream to fruition by looking within our hearts and starting little. It truly is an amazing feeling-better than any.

I never knew about michael other than the music. because here all I got was contredicting News items that seemed to get worse and worse, so I blocked everything out and just listened to the music. I feel really bad though cos I made a joke about him on my 21st birthday 2 days before his death!

He really was amazing human being Im sad I didnt know this before he died, he came to my country when I was like 5. while he was preforming in auckland, 8 hours away I was being hurt by my mother, If I had met him Im sure he would have been just what this little girl needed!

You know, I thought I had no more tears left in me but I was wrong. I am one of the lucky few I guess to have gotten the chance to meet him. My parents got me backstage passes and tickets. Anyway I got to talk with him for twenty minutes while he signed his hat for me and I gave him a rose and teddy bear. My friend said to him that he and I was just alike in spirit. So, Micheal I just want to say two things. I still promise and rest in sweet loving peace. You was and are an angel of God. RIP

Mine too. When I returned to the U.S. after living in Germany for about 3 1/2 years my husband & I went to a friends house for dinner. They said we had to eat in a hurry so we could all watch the Ed Sullivan show because the Jackson 5 were going to be on. When I first saw them I remember screaming OH MY GOSH look at that darling little guy! I followed him and love him from that day. I'm pretty old! I saw the movie yesterday & cried, smiled, and cried again.

I just got back from watching it again. I smiled through the tears. God I miss him so much. My music lives on through his and my heart beats only for the innocent. Hope that makes sense. I remember listening to his music when I was four and dancing to abc by the jackson 5 . He brought music to another level. When he passed away, it was like the world stood still. I didn't hear the sound of the wind blow or the birds singing. It was like the world was mourning a loss of its own.

I think a lot of fans thought the same thing...it was, after all, total shock. We all thought he was about to go to London. The world did stop....but his music will live on forever and his memory will never fad.

I know. Im crying sry so if I mess up its bc today marks the one year mark that my 28 year old cousin died a the hands of others. I lost two of my friends. My cousin and I grew up together so we were like brother and sister. I looked up today and smiled bc he loved MJ too. I "told" Mj he better teach him the moonwalk for his birthday lol. I really miss them.

if you look closely at 0:58 you will see the sick child let go of the nurses hand. the child could not have been more than 3 or 4 years old. he let go because he knew who michael was. the child wanted to put his arms around michael and get a kiss from michael. children knew he was an angel on earth. I agree completely...we can't give tons of money...but you know - MJ could...he knew that - but his message was...the small things make a big difference...give a smile...show some care...give a hug to someone in sadness or pain...help a neighbour...he did it on a larger scale because he was able...but folks...even if we can help locally - in our own communities...we'll be making MJ proud...it's a ripple effect in water...you never know how far a kind gesture will go!

Totally agree with u. The problem is that people no longer believe in themselves. We are so caught up with selfishness, greed and vanity which in turn we fail to see that we are here to help one another. I pray everynight that the entire world opens their eyes soon.....it's not too late to heed MJ's message. His work here is done but we have the power to bring his dream to fruition by looking within our hearts and starting little. It truly is an amazing feeling-better than any.
