Imagine, if you would, Memphis winning the championship and having it taken away two years later because of the Derrick Rose SAT scandal. And you think Sherman burned through Atlanta? Who knows the uproar in Memphis. It would have been almost as bad as having the Cubs win the World Series and watch it taken away by some technicality.

By the way, ever hear a rumor that this game was possibly fixed--specifically through Derrick Rose? I immediately did from a well-known Memphis entrepeneur!

sad thing is memphis literally fouled kansas 3 times before the shot (loose ball fouls) All season long, fouls were called on Memphis when they shouldnt have been and all the sudden we try to get them called and we cant. Fucked up irony. The refs just wanted a more well known school from a big time conference to win.

I was at the UAB-memphis game, the one where they didnt get their asses kicked, and man, i was glad to see memphis loose, when chalmers did it, I yelled so loud it woke up the whole house. lol
