Fantastic video. I do wish the sound matched the subject better.
Still, it is wonderful to see.
Still wish it would have been possible for Ward's collection(s) to have been put into a museum as a complete set, but I understand Ward wanted the toys to go to those who would enjoy them and play with them as he did.
David ~ I'm glad that you have experienced tender rides and the Lilly Belle. IF you live in southern CA, then you should join CPHS and visit Walt's barn at the north end of Griffith Park in L.A.
Join! I'm a member. Then wear a Carolwood shirt when you visit Disneyland, go to the Main St. Train Station, and request a ride in the Lilly Belle Parlor Car AND ALSO REQUEST A TENDER RIDE! Tell them you're a member and be patient.
Great video! The first layout looks like O scale with a third outer rail. The 4-6-0 loco hauled on the truck was purchased by Ward Kimble, and used on his Grizzly Flats RR, later donated to the Orange Empire RR museum. The soundtrack definitely by Pentrex sounds like the Copper Canyon. Finally, Disney's Carolwood Pacific in Holmby Hills ca.
Except that Ward and the Emma were there before the neighbors moved in (or really before most of the houses in the area were built), so they don't have any say in that matter.
The barn in Walt Disney's backyard seen here, is now on display at the north end of Griffith Park in Los Angeles. It is open to the public the third Sunday of every month. Contact Carolwood Pacific Historical Society.
that was cool wish you had the rest of the film posted

Sorry but the Pentrex audio is distracting. Too bad this doesn't have what is on the WDP DVD.
