@Madhfod I think the prophet (pbuh) used to read four rakah at a time, but he would read much slower and much longer surahs that we do, or at east most of us do. I read somewhere that the prophet once read surahs 2,3,4,5 and a couple of others in one rakish in taraweeh - subhannallah. I don't think the number of rakahs makes much of a diference, but the length of the extract of the surah u read that makes the difference

@Madhofd as far as concerned tahajjud could be 2 to 10... I do 4... not regularly but like 5 times or 6 in a week...
