@SicotheClown Yes the ingredients are legal to buy. You can even buy tannerite on Ebay and have it shipped in the mail. Things do not get interesting until the two are mixed. Where they have you is the initiator, blasting caps

are illegal so you need to use a rifle bullet to set it off. The velocity needs to be over 2200fps or faster. There are only two ingredients needed, even though some mixtures use more. I will also caution you these need to be mixed on site, not mixed then carried.

@SicotheClown Ya all i have is a .22 right now, so i was setting them off with blasting caps, it's not quite as loud as i though, of course im used to nitroglycerin. There's a video on here telling you how to make it .22 sensitive, just make some flash (KCLO4 + AL) and place about 50g flash in front of it and a .22 will set it off, haven't got to try it yet

I care less about tannerite, I use stuff than is way more powerful and can be set off with a .22. And it is perfectly legal as well, although hitting a target at a significant range is pretty difficult.

The information on its composition is readily available. Simply aluminum powder (more regulated than you may think) and ammonium nitrate. It didn't hurt the pulleys/gear boxes/shafts & numerous bearings (most still usable) very much.

I like to blow things up too, but an old combine like that sitting in a pasture is actually a treasure trove of parts. Once this full-scale economic collapse sinks its hooks into us full bore, those who didn't prepare are going to have to fabricate everything from generators to windmills using whatever parts they can scrounge & that old combine has a lot to offer. Parts make great barter too.
