i wish i had a chance to get the spec v that was for sale in dealer by the one i bought my 1.8 se 06 model from but it was already sold, and the only one for sale within 60 miles of me at time nissans are reliable as hell so i at least have that but if i had the spec v i would tune it out and make it quick like you did props man all these people with mustangs and gtos and cameros hatin are ignorant to the fact that the japanese have figured out how to make small powerful light weight cars
The sentra I had has beaten 2jz twin turbo supras too. 9.92 on the quarter mile, 6 speed trans w/ stage 3 clutch. Didnt have the 2.5, I swapped it out for the 3.5 spec v altima motor with 20psi of boost (Originally setup for 25psi but I kept it at 20). There was no interior what so ever but the 2 front seats
the only things I left inside was the seats center consol and dash, everything else was smoothed over and painted with graffiti. WIth all upgrades it was pushing 6 to the rear wheels

@lovesvag69 Gotta call BS on this one unless you can provide a dyno sheet. You'd be lucky to get 300rwhp with the 50 shot and all the bolt ons you can find. I dynod the same day as another 04 GT with a 100 shot and bolt ons and we both dyno'd 301rwhp.

@xmodrock I know a stock 04 GT with a Hellion kit puts roughly 450 to the rear wheels. Thats a turboed 2 valve. And Hellion kits come with tubular K members, and coil overs. So it's a good bit lighter.
@xmodrock Oh yeah, but this was a conservative tune for a 19yo kid who couldn't drive. Mom and dad paid for it. Same kit on my car will put me conservatively in the 650-700rwhp realm. Now if I went all out, I could get close to 800rwhp on pump gas(93) with no meth injection. And I don't have any issue with anyone who drives a Spec V, it's probably a fast little car. But the guys who talk smack out of their butts(ricer) about how they smoke GT's and Cobras, I've got no use for them.

blown motor on 260 whp? people run 8-10 pounds on stock motors all day making around 300. What kind of boost controller where you running? motor shouldn't be blowing like that. Where you running a standalone, reflash, or a piggyback. Stock spec5 ecu adds timing like a motherfucker down low. maybe torque spike.
The QR25 was dyno at 260 whp and blew up after just a few runs, if you have a turbo Spec V and you start to hear a ticking in the engine it's about ready to blow so be carefull, just some advise from a prior SpecV fan
12 lbs of boost and allot of drag racing, nothing done to the block but oil squirters and balance shaft removal, the head was ported and polished titanium valves and stronger springs, ran like a bat out of hell for about 20 runs at the track then something always went wrong with the block, My K20 has been turboed for 5 years and i put 80K miles on it with about 200 drag runs and never had a problem, the bottom end is stock on the K20 and had it dynoed at 280 wheel hp
"2002" That's your problem, 2002 Specs are known for being less than reliable. It's very prevalent for the first year of ANY production car to be the worst.
4 Motors? Talk about unfortunate. How did they blow? Did you take out the pre-cat and loctite the butterfly screws?
As for 3 transmissions? I don't know about that. The Spec tranny has always been known to be quite stout (Nissan used it in the 5.5 Gen Maxima). Unless of course you like to powershift LOL.
