This is the 3rd demo of the T5 Taylor I've looked at. It's an outstanding instrument. I'd love one of each of the Parker Fly and the T5 guitar. The guitar builders blended tone, timbre and versatility. Beautiful guitar!
You can buy a new T5-LTD with a Tasmanian Blackwood top for $1300. They have satin finish and no binding....they are beautiful. I love mine. They are not all VERY VERY VERY expensive. A D-15 costs $999 now. A USA Strat costs $1200 now. I would rather gig my T5 than carry my D-15 and Strat to a bar.
Not expensive at all compared to any good wooden guitar. The value exceeds the price. I love my T5 LTD.
the T5 is a great guitar.....VERY VERY VERY...expencive.....! you can own three good quality guitars to record the sounds you can get from the T5...and... if one guitar gets damaged you can still play the other two...or.... NOT sound like a fool on stage when you are forced to play with a broken string because you only can aford one guitar after buying the T5...yes the T5 is a great guitar...just not practicle in price....
I dont know what kind of 'quality' guitars you think you can get for the price or tone for that matter of the T5, but throwing down a couple grand (give or take a couple hundred depending on the model and extras) on a guitar of this quality is not expensive. This guitar is absolutely worth the money. No where else will you find the versitility of this instrument. So i'm not too sure where you think you can buy three guitars (as competative as the T5) for the price one itself.
You're right, i dont own a T5, BUT I do own the 814ce. These tend to run about 3grand. So, its not necessarily your busines what I do with my money. Sure, the guitar may be too expensive for you, but hey, thats your problem. So before you go attacking me and saying that I, personally, dont have the money for this type of guitar, please just stay out of other people's business.
this is all you can come up with...? wow you really think your special...sounds to me like your wallet is a little thin...and cant stretch all the way out to achive your taylor dreams...dont worry...maybe momy will buy you one...!
I play banjo on only have one Gibson mastertone. When I break a string at a gig I stop and fix it. I change string often enough that they don't break. Been playing for over 20 yrs have not broke a string on stage yet.
@colejoshrocks The backstory on the piece was not as thrilling as the piece itself, but it was fascinating. The guy achieved what he was headed for.. prove the promise!
It made the licks sting even more to know that they were "rising to a challenge."
It must be said that CME is a bit unusual by ANY standard. Certainly a gorgeous place to hang out while contemplating spending large amounts of money.
How did you get to film HEAVEN! ?

can you get a pedal which gives the electric sound to an acoustic amp? If so, what types are the best
(I know it won't sound as good as 2 amps with an A.b pedal but I'm trying to conserve the price)

What has happened to Marc? I don't see him anymore on the Taylor Shows? He has been a great ambassador for the Taylor Guitars. A super positive man!

Go Marc!! I saw him play in Minneapolis at the Taylor guitar roadshow. He's a fantastic musician!
