I'm reading the Terry Goodkind "Sword of Truth" series. If you love Token, I highly recomend it. Lots of Wizards and magical creatures and adventures. Just read the first one in the series called "Wizard's first rule" and you'll be hooked. They made a tv series out of it called "Legend of the Seeker" which is pretty good but all they did is take the characters from the books and totally rewrite the stories. The books are way better.

If I may be so bold to suggest a book: The Terror, by Dan Simmons. Granted, it leans a bit more to the horror spectrum, but it incorporates a good deal of fantasy as well.
Basically it takes the real life Franklin Expedition from 1845, and on top of having the ship's crew fighting off horrible weather and illness for 2 years, and their ship being stranded in the middle of the Arctic Circle, they're being stalked by a supernatural monster.
It WOULD be fun to do stickam with you, but stickam can kiss my ass right now. Every time I do it, the chat lags so badly that I just say fuck it and abandon ship.
When one goes live, there is lag and it gets worse the longer one is on. But the chat rooms where no one really is the host, have no lag. I think because when a host goes live it all has to go through them to get to everyone else makes it lag. The chat rooms have stickam as the central host so everyone gets the same data, so really, there;s no lag.
Some people just open up a Skype and mute everyone and just use stickam for the video.

I have to have like five tabs open at one time, I always have the tv on and barely watch it. I read the first three chronicles of Narnia, but then got to the fourth and it was really boring so I finished the unfortunate events series and then started some other book and a children of the lamp, took those back and plan to read them later, I started Dracula and read a book about a prince with a bird wing. I just started one about myths and I'm about to read another about Norse myths
I already read the Norse myths one, I was just going to reread it and I'm getting bored of the other one so I'll probably just put that one back and not come back to it. Two of my friends told me I should read Lord of the Rings, I know your a big fan and they were made into movies so I guess I'll read them. Which is the first?

Stickam is interesting because most of the people who go live on it just sit there with music playing and chuckle while reading the comments. I think you'd be a much more interesting host. Just engage people. Have a few things you think would be fun to talk about and then let the conversation develop organically. Oh, and Ustream is WAY better than Stickam.
I read the Lennon Book around Christmas. I thought it was pretty good. The writing style was a little bland but it was really interesting. I love the design of the Hippie book, I doubt I will ever read it but every time I see it in a bookstore I end up picking it up and looking at the cover.
Hahah, well I read a different one according to the kind of mood I'm in. I'm not always in the mood to read about hippies, so I'll read about hobbits instead that day.

When one goes live, there is lag and it gets worse the longer one is on. But the chat rooms where no one really is the host, have no lag. I think because when a host goes live it all has to go through them to get to everyone else makes it lag. The chat rooms have stickam as the central host so everyone gets the same data, so really, there;s no lag.
Some people just open up a Skype and mute everyone and just use stickam for the video.
Or try out tokbox.

My mom loves Indian culture and she's rubbed off on me a bit. We have TONS of Buddha statues in the house, as well as statues of other god's and symbols of Buddhism. Hahah. Mom even has a meditation rack.

Hi Emily, your video when you re-opened your account waaaaay back was the first video I saw on YouTube, and loved that video and you, and each video you posted thereafter! And now when you post a video, though it's not so often, i am happy! :D
I'm curious, have you been following (some of them do blogTV) the vlogbrothers, fiveawesomegirls, fiveawesomeguys, vlogramen, wheezywaiter, and the many spin-offs, including their personal channels? Have you read any of John Green's excellent novels?

I actually do not follow other vloggers, either on youtube or live shows. I fail that way. I love to vlog but am overly selective about what vlogs I like to watch, haha. The only ones I keep up with are Tony, Adam, and Alex... and I even lose track of them sometimes, poor darlings.

Funny story. You started making videos about a week after I found youtube. In fact, you may have been the first person I subscribed to. Hmm...anyway, I remember that Pippin video. It made me feel ridiculous for feeling sad about some girl from the internet and her cat with blue eyes. Glad to see his eyes are still blue and you are not as much. ;)

that is sooo weird! my cousins kid had his 4th birthday party saturday and the theme was batman haha, he had the same table cloth thing too. :]
we have snow and yuck outside so we had to do the pinata in the kitchen. the floor has some nice dents in it. ;]

I have to have like five tabs open at one time, I always have the tv on and barely watch it. I read the first three chronicles of Narnia, but then got to the fourth and it was really boring so I finished the unfortunate events series and then started some other book and a children of the lamp, took those back and plan to read them later, I started Dracula and read a book about a prince with a bird wing. I just started one about myths and I'm about to read another about Norse myths

It''s nice to see you and Pippin reunited. Life has a funny way of bringing the one's we love back into our lives. I don't know how you can read that many books at once. I'm definitely not one who can multi-task, so the thought of keep track of that many story-lines makes my head hurt, lol :)

Stickam is interesting because most of the people who go live on it just sit there with music playing and chuckle while reading the comments. I think you'd be a much more interesting host. Just engage people. Have a few things you think would be fun to talk about and then let the conversation develop organically. Oh, and Ustream is WAY better than Stickam.

I read the Lennon Book around Christmas. I thought it was pretty good. The writing style was a little bland but it was really interesting. I love the design of the Hippie book, I doubt I will ever read it but every time I see it in a bookstore I end up picking it up and looking at the cover.
