I am not against islam or the muslim people in general. But for sure islam is deeply rooted in history where it aims to assimilate the population in becoming muslims. The history of the ancient persia, the lands of syria, jordan and lebanon, fall of byzantine etc are all but examples of the past where muslims have relentlessly done everything to make local population muslims. Their efforts have included killing to instill fear in local non muslim population.
