It doesnt work anymore, it says that you need to go to xbox.com and pay $10.00 or 800 microsoft points to recover your account and then you will be able to change your gamertag, but you have to pay. :(

here is easier way to change your gamertag

Step 1. go to gamestop and buy 1600 microsoft points

Step 2. go home and power on your xbox 360.

Step 3.Go to your profile and hit edit profile.

Step 4. Then at the top of the list you will see where it says gamertag and click on it.

Step 5. It will say change your name click on it then enter the 25 digit code on your prepaid card.
