wow matt 15 weeks out. its amazing what youve been able to accomplish in this last 4mon. you were 185 in this vid. i was 215 when u did this vid. today im 195. my goal was to get to 185. but your right about being fluffy at that size. thats exactly how i feel. i told my coach i wanted to shoot for 175 to accomplish a more ripped look. watching and listening to you is living proof, that if youre detemined, disiplined, and focused, all goals can be acheived.
haahahaha 7:25 did you just say,BUT deal with it , it looks hella good. when i gel it, and all the ladies go wild. CLASSIC!!! YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!
@Hg123MercurY heh, well thanks man. But I'm doing a natural bodybuilding competition... I HAVE to cut down to win. Cutting to 170 wouldn't be LOW ENOUGH, trust me. I'm being coached by guys with pro cards and 160 is the goal weight we're going for. At 170 I just won't be AS RIPPED as 160. At 160 I have a much better chance of winning a natural comp than 170. But thanks man. Remember I'm doing the cutting for the sport! Not that I think it'll make me "look better" ;)
Matt, I'm a huge fan of your vids, but what's your take on very low carb diets like atkins that put you in ketosis. What about carb cycling/cyclical ketogenic diet. I've had some pretty crazy fat loss on these and I maintain strength but I'm probably over doing the cardio, I seem to lose weight too fast. Just wanted your input! Keep up the GREAT videos!
good one broski. Well my take on low carb diets: its hard for me to give a helpful opinion on it. I've done the "anabolic diet" which is no/low carbs monday-friday (super high fat/protein), MEGA CARBS weekends....
I'll just say... it was "ok".... see, that didn't help much did it?
anyway... My best bet for cutting - monitor your calories/calories out... I mean REALLY monitor. my whole life I've been guessing.
@flexforall2 Look up the "anabolic diet". On second thought I actually enjoyed it. I "thought" I was getting leaner while on it, and my strength was progressively going up as well. What I'm doing now, though, is probably what I'd recommend. a mix of cardio types, and a slight caloric deficit. I can't tell ya EVERYTHING I'm doing... I'm paying for that! lol
you're fucking disgusting with that tuna and oats

@flexforall2 I think you look great right now. IMO you don't need to cut.
I think cutting to 160lbs is too low...... maybe 170lbs is better??
