  • how the hell does someone dislike this?

  • this has been my worst fear for years! I seriously don't stop crying just at the thought of losing my mother and I'm terrified for when that day comes :'(

  • i like how they didn't show her die in the end, they gave it a very happy ending

  • "Now Let's get one with the whole family... Izabel?" Best Lines!!!! I cry everytime!

  • The little boy looks familiar. I think he's off of the movie Opposite Day. Correct me if I'm wrong.

  • @ShowWizard104 no thats billy unger in opposite day. the boy in this is liam aiken from lemony snicket's a series of unfortunate events and road to perdition.

  • I can't watch this scene without crying :(

  • To me, somehow the one that really gets me is "now, let's take photo with the whole family."

  • Oh god, I'm crying hysterically.

  • @mooche306 me too :')

  • "Nobody loves you like i do..."

It keeps breaking my heart everytime.. :/

  • :( sad movie. Watch my dad die as I said goodbye, told him we would see him in heaven that god was waitin for him, then he died as I rubed his arm. Hate cancer! in a way feel like its a blessing to be able to say our goodbyes

  • The ending is so uplifting because it's all about everybody sharing a memory together, just in one special moment of love and connection. It's the little things in life like this - the profound gestures and the acts of good will which make us understand the very best we can be in this life.

  • my mom passed away in 1997, and this movie came in 1998, and i remember watching on theaters and well, having almost a heart attack cuz its such a powerful scene but so serene...

it's kinda like how every mother would say goodbye to their son and daughters if they had the time...

  • @funnyfan93 yeah... Not exactly the most optimistic of films, I need a pick me up

  • Me encanta esta pelicula!! sin duda alguna es mi favoritaaa!! :) <3

  • Made me cry so wonderful

  • @funnyfan93 nah man, I'm crying to, damn it this is heart wrenching, watching it I cry, few mates come on all laugh, cept one who had seen it, think it gets everyone to cry

  • @TheWolfboy90 Im glad im not the only one! But it really does make u think how lucky we are too have are friends n family because u never know what might be round the corner. Thats what makes this movie so upsetting :/

  • am i the only dude that cries at this movie? I dont care if i am, atleast im man enough to admit it i surpose....

  • Sometimes I think that this is what my Mom was telling me when she passed away and told me that she would park herself inside me. This is so touching.,,and so precious.

  • Ben: nobody loves you like I do

    Jackie: nobody ever will

    I tear up :'(

  • the best video ever

  • This is the saddest part:

It's ok to miss me, it's ok...You can miss me and you can take me with you.

When you are in trouble, I'll be there. When you fall in love, I'll be there. On your graduation, on your wedding, when you have babies...Take me with you.

    - Always always and always. :'((((((((((((

  • I miss this film makes me cry a lot at the end

  • thanks for posting!!!!

  • I was balling! Then at the end it made it look like all happy with happy music and all that when it's really sad. It ruined the moment. Haha

  • Only move which makes me cry.

  • If your ever mad at your mom for any reason you should watch this movie and it will make you realize how lucky you are to still have a mom....dam this movie gets me everytime.

  • @TeamLautnerawrrrr sameeee here!

  • When she talks to her kids, i couldn't stop crying. Truly an amazing movie

  • Susan Sarandon is absolutely one amazing star.

  • The part with the daughter and the mum got me crying.A movie has nearly never made me cry because I'm strong. But this...just wow.

  • the volume is extremely low.

  • Her talking about the blanket and always keeping it with her and take her along thats one of a few movies they can almost get me to cry I am talking wetness in eyes just tears wont form but so damn close

  • one of the best movies I ever seen.

  • Mom. I love you. I know youre listening this with me!

  • 'You have made my life so wonderful.' This line reminds me so much about the essence of humanity. It's not about money, or looks, or fame. It's about being with the people you love; mothers, daughters, fathers, sons, sisters, brothers, husbands, wives...the only thing that truly matters!

  • This is the first time, ever, that a movie has made me cry. My mom passed away from Ovarian cancer last year, and I'm 13. So, you know...

  • me doi tanto ver a despedida dela com seus filhos... nao tem como nao chorar... ai como isso me doi... nossa parece que entro na cena do filme...

Um dos filmes mais lindos que ja assistir ....Manoela

  • good thing they did not put a death scene, i would cry very very hard, :)

  • ben kinda looks like the kid that plays greg in diary of a wimpy kid lol

  • awesome movie! love susan!! :)

  • My goodness how strong is a Mother's love? just watching this you can see how strong her love is for her children, our Mum's are the only constant figure in our lives, freinds and boyfreinds come and go but our mum is always there. The one who brought us into the world is the one who rears us to go out and face the world.

  • Wooahh! I'm tearing up.. imagine trying to say goodbye to YOUR mom. makes me emotional just thinking about it.

  • I always cry watching this. I wish i couldve had the chance to say goodbye to my mom. :( I miss her so much

  • i just watched this, and i surprisingly cried lol

  • 3:10

  • i always cry in this scene (:

  • 11 people have no souls

  • this is so sad!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i dont like the ending. its not as touching as i expected! damn

  • Teardrops from my eye, love it, thanks!

  • "you have made my life SO wonderful" <3 my god , the pinnacle of a mothers love .

  • I can't believe that whenever I watch this, I'm crying like a little baby. Most touching movie ever.

  • Have you ever had that fear when somebody you absosulty adore and love and look up to? And you never find out whats wrong with them? And then there not there in your life anymore? Thats my biggest fear... This movie always makes me not think about that.... And I hope this movie gets through the rough times in life because this movie brings hope to some situation like this..

  • Great actors- great film...my mum showed me this movie when i was little and i didnt very understood but now i know why she liked it a lot... BOMBA

  • i love the ending. julia and susan look like sisters.

  • ben has the happiest face i've ever seen. his eyes just smile.

  • Susan Sarandon is not only great in this movie but she's one great actress!!

  • @Wolfe222 you're right!!!!!!

  • This video gets me everytime.

I used to watch this with my mother and we would both cry together.

My mom passed away from Cervical Cancer 10 months ago, and I just bawl everytime I see this movie.

It's so sweet this movie but so depressing.

  • @Slygurl200617 yeah you're right!

this was the favourite movie of my mom and it's mine as well..

we used to watch it on tv and we always cried too!!

my mom passed away 4 yrs ago But I still miss her so much...I need here more and more...

moms are the only people who will love us forever!!!!

This Movie makes me remind her and all of the moments we joined together!!!

Mrs Sarandon Is the best actress ever!!!

This movie is so touching though!!!

    I

  • @Slygurl200617 I'm so sorry for your loss

I hope you are coping well :'(

  • By the time the Susan Sarandon character says," okay now with the whole family". I am a bucket full of tears. The look she gives the Julia Roberts character is I'm not going to make it, so raise my children. Luv it!!!

  • makes me cry

  • omg i always cry. Luv this scene. itz very sentimental.

  • whos that little girl ?

  • @786SA90 Jena Malone. :)

  • nobody loves you like i do <3

  • great movie

  • is this movie updated on youtube?

  • Though it's a movie, these kids are lucky they are able to say goodbye. I could not really say that the last days of my mothers life. I miss her so much..this scene makes it worse...lovely movie.

  • Why did I torture myself and watch this? -sniffles- I will not cry, I will not cry........lol

  • it remainds me de death of my dad...so sad :'(

  • the girl is the one who appears in pride and prejudice isn't she?

    great film. great susan sarandon

  • @BlueBerry349 yes, it is! she's grown so pretty.

if you've seen Cold Mountain, she's there too. but it's only a bit part--she's killed off quickly in the movie.

  • it reminds me of my great grandmother, she always had great poetry and told me she will always be with me

  • This hits SO close to home. I remember watching my mom suffer through cancer last year. It was the most heartbreaking, painful thing I've ever seen in my life, just watching her get weaker and weaker. Now that she's gone, I'd do anything to get her back. : (

  • omg i love this movie some one know where i can find the full movie ...ugh heartbreaking moment ...

  • I love how everyone is smiling when the cage is empty....it's like they're expecting (or maybe know) a dove to be there next time.

  • Everytime I have a difficult day , I come home, watch this scene, and know that I have nothing to complain about. Life is so beautiful

  • I love this movie Im guy and I still tear up

  • I love this film and the story it holds. Everytime I see it the tears fall while I smile at the love that it displays. Hold on to the treasured moments of your lives always always ~*

  • i love this movie. i want my mum.

  • This scene is too much moving for me, because the performance of Susan Sarandon is very special and perfect and looks like a real mother, not a character.

Everybody in this film was deserve a Oscar, the producers are so intelligents to pass a real case and common in the day-by-day.

Chris Columbus, I love your films.

And the cast are very sophisticated.

  • unbelivable!!

  • I love this movie cause I am a step mom, is with a man who has 2 boys ..not thast I have cancer or is dyin yet?but lost my grandfather 11 mnths ago and the raw pain that the family feels id deep and strong......no mater if ya are blood or not.....the tight binds are what counts

  • ive watched this film thousand of times.... it makes me cry still....

  • Best movie ever ever ever made! I can't stop crying from beginning to end!

  • I feel as if I wanna cry.

  • So close! I almost made it to the end without crying!

  • I am delighted with this movie, the entire movie is beautiful... It is very sad.. But it is nice to finish this way. THE WHOLE FAMILY SURROUNDS CLOSE (UNITED).

  • Ain't no mountain high enough!! Luv dis 9min clip...;)

  • Man, this movie is so sad, it gets me crying every time..not just the tears, but the sniffles, the choked up feeling, and the sob noises...

"You know where we can see eachother?

In our dreams..." Gets me everytime.

  • I bawl when Susan Sarandon says "now lets get one with the whole family" I lose it every time!

  • The scene where she tells her mom she doesnt want her to die is the closest movie scene to ever almost get me to cry

  • "You have made my life so wonderful."

    Thats when i start crying.

  • I cry every time I watch this movie. These two actresses are awsome. They don´t even have to talk, their expresions are great.

  • "Nobody's loved you like i do"

    "Nobody ever will"

<3 that part always gets me, top film (Y)

  • this part was the sad part and it made me cry........liam is sooooo sweet ........i like the part when liam a.k.a benjamin said"nobody loves you like i do" that part really made me cry......this movie rocks!!!!

  • @lukebenwardrocksify this whole mobie made me cry:(

    great and best movie..

  • I'm still crying.truely sad and it happens in real world.

  • My gooooooooooooooooooood this movie made me cry sooooooooooo much

  • Check out this brand new trailer with music by Diane Birch and the Black Eyed Peas for the motion picture Valentine's Day in theaters Feb 12, 2010! /watch?v=1-7ba5BGzTk

  • i cried a lot

  • AWESOME ENDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You have made my life So perfect...

I love that part and everytime when i see it. it's like, if i'm right there, it looks like she is telling it to me

  • Love it! So moving...

  • simplemente hermosa pelicula!

  • 'nobody loves you like i do' makes me cry EVERY single time.

  • Igh. I still hate Anna with a burning passion >_>

  • i am crying.... again

  • I ALWAYS cry when I see that scene, no matter how many times I've seen it before! ♥

  • This scene gets me every time. I am literally bawling me eyes out, sobbing out loud, tissues all around me. I know the premise of the movie seems so cliche, but it is worth the time. It captures your emotions. The movie is relateable, even if you haven't lost your mom to cancer because you know how devastating it would be if it happened to you. When Ben says, "That's not good enough" and when Anna shakes her head crying after the mom says it's okay is the worst. Gets me every time.

  • @rhadya46

same here, this film absolutely tears me to pieces, and i'm quite pretentious and snobby with films but i just think julia roberts' and sarandon's performances are incredible, they both break my heart

i've seen this movie many times, and EVERY TIME i weep and weep

    brilliant cast

  • @rhadya46 I am sooo glad I am not the only one. no one else in my family cries in this movie but no matter how many times I watch it I cry.

  • @mandykiwi i know, me too! My family thinks that its sad but not worth crying over. Glad to have someone that agrees with me

  • @rhadya46 I agree completely. I'm very close to my mother but when I moved out she moved very far away to eastern asia, and I miss her everyday when I hear her say how she wants her to "take her there" it makes me think how much I miss my mom more than anything I cried so hard after she left and I still cry even though it's been almost a year I still miss her and every time I see moms and daughters or just family in general I just want to cry, this movie touches me because of my situation.

  • take me with you when you have yours babies ...so heart felt :(

  • Ugh, definitely bawled my eyes out Lol!

This part gets me everytime, reminds me of my own mother.

  • I've only ever seen this movie on TV (I watch it every time!). But, it's always formatted for the screen. So, I've never noticed until now that they touch hands in the final photo. It takes an already beautiful moment and makes it transcendent.

  • Oh, God. This gets me everytime. I love this clip - it's so beautiful!

  • this is a really good film. shame it had to be so bloody sad!

  • such i sad film i watched it last night i cried buckets

  • quite possibly the saddest film ever!!! :'(

  • i watched this last night and cried my eyes out

  • i watched it last night as well LOL didnt quite see the end though (feel asleep)

  • Omg same!

  • Oh here come the water works :'(

  • omg yes... The mother/daughter scene "take me with you" made me bawl my eyes out...

  • Losing a Mom is heartbreaking. Trust me. I know how it feels. Last summer, my cousin's mother died of cancer and she would'nt talk to anyone for months.

  • My parents divorced, and my mom and my stepmom have been fighting since their yought.. She kinda knows the feeling to leave their kids in others hands.. especially in the ones she hates.. We've been watching this movie for years and it still makes me cry. WONDERFULL MOVIE!

  • I think Chris' mom died of cancer at this same time right? He dedicated this movie I believe to her. 5:55 gets me everytime! I love moms, this movie makes me want to have kids!

  • This is so amazing. I watched this part so many times when it airs on tv and it kills my heart everytime. I cant imagine losing my mom to this. My heart goes out to all moms who I think are just amaZing ppl. Plus I looove susan sarandon she reminds me so much of my mom. She is amazing too:)

  • same, i cry and it makes me really appreciate my mum. i cry more at this than titainic!!!! :')

  • "Nobody loves you like I do"

The best line of the whole movie.

  • You know? I've watched this movie dozens of times and am always so wrapped up in the moment that I've never actually noticed that Julia touches Susan's hand there at the end. I'm always so wrapped up in the amazing expressions on their faces that I've always missed that very subtle, very powerful gesture. An already remarkable scene just got that much better. Thanks for showing it here.

  • he visto esta oelicula tre veces en mi vida lamentablemente pero simpre lloro igual esta peli es hermosa una obra maestra

  • la habré visto 15 veces y sigo llorando.

  • ooh, god, it's so beautiful =')

    thank's for upload *-*

  • john williams' music is so brilliant

  • Waaaah! Bawling like a baby to this. :'[

  • yeah...me too...it's an awesome movie....

  • me too...i cry terribly when i see this everytime!

  • Lovely movie! Could someone upload the whole movie please?

  • i don't think it's possible to upload the whole film on youtube!!

  • that is rly sad made me cry x

  • Wow That Made Be Tear Up

  • i remember wen my mum died of cancer when i was 11, i thought it was the end of the world, i couldnt get over it for years and still now over 10 years later i still miss her every day and i will do so for the rest of my life, the hardest part was talking to her knowing full well that she was going to die, you just dont know what to say to someone so important who you will never see again and you dont know loss until you loose someone that you love so much.

  • you'll meet her again in heaven! :D

  • My mom died of cancer too. She died when I was 11 too and well I remember when she was really sick and now 11 years later, now when I have 2 kids, a 4 yr old and an 8 month old and now I am planning my wedding. This is when I miss her the most. Its hard but she is gone and well I know she is watching over me because I have been dreaming about her every night since she passed away. Its true you dont know how good you have it till its gone.

  • sorry about your loss. she is watching over you always with you and your kids. you will see her in heaven. Love never dies

  • only film thats made me cry!

  • so sad. i am always near crying at the ending picture...

  • I can't stop crying all over the film! It's so sad...

  • Only film ever to make me cry. Love u mom

  • Actually theres another film that made me cry.....me and my husband, it is the movie 'My Life'. Its with Nicole Kidman and Michael Keaton. Its an awesome movie.

  • yes My Life was a nice movie, but what made this one special for me was that it wasn't the traditional man-wife movie. It was the relationship between the ex and the about to be new wife that made it very unique. Julia and Susan were both terrific. The movie was dedicated to Chris Columbus' mom who had recently passed away.

  • R.I.P Mummy!! I love you so much, I know your looking down on me!! x

  • I hate this movie..it makes me cry over and over!!Kidding aside, this is one of my favorites..

  • THIS IS MY FAVORITE MOVIE!!

  • LIAM IS SOOO CUTE HERE :)

  • i <3 jena malone :)

  • this films makes me cry... thinking about my mom...

  • this is one of my favorite movies ever, so touching and so under rated, hardly anyone i know has ever even heared of it.

  • I've wached the film, and I've cryed before as I'm crying now, great, perfect.
