  • Montoya era rapido y agresivo en pista... su defecto es que era muy bruto y caimán.

  • I loved to see Montoya race in F1, but the time that he ran were the lost years of F1, when Schumacher won only (except 2006), so it makes sense why he moved to NASCAR

  • @999tnc You mean 2005 (when Schumi didn't win)?

They were the lost years of F1, but also the fact that every car that Juan-Pablo stepped into broke down more times than a car you'd find in the back of an Auto-trader magazine...Costing him several wins in his small 5 & years-career in F1.

  • montoya youre was my idol, when i was 11 years old i wanna be formula 1 dirver like you,, but i grown up and I fall in love with a guitar and now im studyng cinematography direction.

  • whos only watching this to hear the magnificent V10 engines? i am. they really should bring theses engines back.

  • pure talent / pure madness, montoya is racing with front wing fuckin broken like a boss, its very impressive but very dangerous at same time, imagine what would happen at 0:50 if the wing get under his tyres...

  • JPM, such an amazing talent, would have been a champion in the 80's when they raced hard, not the cheating bitch-boy

    Schumi years he raced in..

  • @piegar I agree.

  • i don't think the boss was happy with the action of montoya in the first corner..

  • that was the beautifulst BWM in formula 1 !!!

  • This is a really cool video. Thanks!

  • I don't know why he's waving at his teammate as this was clearly 100% his fault.

  • these cars were quicker than todays and sounded so much better apart from traction control

  • fucking idiot montoya classic craher

  • @makturk42 that's incydent

  • Montoya sucks!

  • @1512Jake , you suck..!!

  • JPM had a bad star as he try to minimize losing more places, (racer-natural thing to do)he also keeps a distance,a safety distance betwen him and the Honda far left, soon that "safety distance"-is taking by RS as he comes shouting from JPM outside, who by then miss judge the breaking point,(cold tyres?) Also notice how the Honda who was allways on the far left made into the rigth hander. Now who will bump into who if that was a left hander ?!. In resume RS was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

  • @TOXICTRACE No, Montoya barged into Schumacher quite clearly.

  • @MetaKnightsKirby No,erm...?? Don't tell me is MS who gets hit from behind by JPM.(!!)...erm no,even so JPM miss judge his breaking point (cold tyres), he-JPM don't even touch MS.So,i'll said again: RS was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

  • @TOXICTRACE No, Montoya breaked to late and slammed into RALF Schumacher, his team mate. Montoyas fault, not Schumachers. If this was a clip of Micheal doing this to Montoya you would be up in arms about how idiotic the move was.

  • @MetaKnightsKirby "RALF Schumacher his team mate" .Hmm? are you being patronising or is that how much you "think" you know.?!.Kids are known to argue for the sake of being argumentative so,it doesn't bother me if you don't agree.

  • @TOXICTRACE Montoya and Ralf Schumacher were team mates in 2004. You, with your lack of Formula 1 knowlage and terrible grammar, can hardly be calling anybody a kid. Get real.

  • @MetaKnightsKirby Wow team mates and that was in 2004.erm!! Kid you're so naive as to "think" that i know little about the subjet. As formy enlglish grammar at least i'm trying to comunicate with the world, evidently that's meningless for you as you're far to busy finding ways to isult me like you had previously, i doubt very much you can write in castellano, prove me wrong and reply on my native language otherways suerte.

  • @TOXICTRACE You clearly do know litttle about this subject given your posts, anybody can see this. If you cannot handle having your grammar questioned, then don't even think about insulting others (hypocritical much?) by calling them 'kids'. If you can demonstrate that I am wrong in what I previously said (which you is what you were implying you could), do so or stop spurting out nonsense.

  • the 2010 engines sound like sewing machines compared to these in 2004

  • the 2010 engine sounds like a sweing machine compared to this

  • haha classic Montoya. "fucking idiots braking in the middle of a corner. fucking idiots!"

  • worst driver in in one of the best cars.

  • idiot

  • About whom he is complaining about at 0:17? His own supidity not able to brake clearely into turn one? And thereby destroying his temanates car :-)

  • WoW!!!... first off... bring back that engines.... Second... JPM HAS to come back, along with kimi and the 2011 season would be the best ever! this guys are such assholes (in a good way), and along with the other great drivers we have now... the competition would be unbelievable.

  • FAIL! 0:14

  • he is the craziest formula one driver ever! #LOL

  • @Takamatsu240 I think the craziest one ever is takuma sato, he is quite crazy LOL

  • @Takamatsu240 , he is the only one with balls of steel and with the talent to do the unthinkable...., PURE TALENT.

  • @fermillo85

How the fuck can you say that???!! Montoya was a great driver! He was fearless and so brave! It's such ashame he left F1. He never got the support at Mclaren! He should have stayed with Williams BMW and he would have def won a championship! I so hope he makes an F1 come back! I loved Montoya

  • what an ass Montoya is/was... he overcooks it and still raises his hand... what were you expecting, dumbass?? others to let you go becuase you f*cked it up???

he was an idiot... good he left, he was not worth it really...

  • The only things what he did in f1 was bullshit

  • a great driver, but not made for F1.... he needs a car that doesn't fall apart when it takes one little hit

  • what an idiot

  • fantastic driving without front wing!

  • It was all Ralf's fault, he should've known not too get close to Montoya for this reason LOL

  • i like the way he tries to slow the car down by turning the wheel, interesting

  • @beyblader10171 My father and uncle used to do the same thing whenever they had to brake hard on the street lol

  • 1:06! Phew! :D

  • montoya verursacht zwar oft einen unfall aber man sieht, dass er trotz kaputtem frontflügel noch so schnell wie möglich fährt

  • These kind of cars had the best sound ever!

Not like this baby sound now!

  • @Dennis32434 nah. the engines back in the 80s and early 90s were better.

  • @NationOfMasturbation

    Just the turbo....

  • @Dennis32434 The best sounds had cars from 80/90 years ;p

  • @brzezio96

The turbo cars did not sound that great to me, but most of the 3.5 L engines (87/88-94) sounded very nice!

  • @Michaelingolfhansen Yea i was talking about them ;p

  • bad pitstop

  • Ahhh Jean Paul!!!

  • i hope ferrari and mclaren come back on top

  • BRING BACK THE V10!

  • Comment removed

  • Montoya`s falt all the way he even knew that. But he is funny let me tell u by the way he reacted

  • ??he is a f1 driver?? he hits everyone is the start..in every race.....then..when he WAS in f1

  • I think he forgot he was braking on the dirty side of the track, and failed to take that into account!

And at a start with tire - and especially brake temperatures - not at their optimum, this shows how carefull you have to be!

  • Ehhh?....Yes hopelessly VERY late braking!....and braking so the wheels lock AND trying to steer at the same time!?

Im not saying he was not a good driver, but in this particular incident, he really does not look too good!

I did not give you the thumbs down, so I guess youre quite alone with your view!

He took a chance (which you have to do sometimes), but this time he overshot his target!

I still miss him in F1 though...

  • Okay sir.

Now actually watch the vid... watch Button beside him... then all of a sudden Ralf comes shooting down the middle... now you understand?

  • Yes I see both Button and Ralfdoing nothing wrong!!!

I also see a Mr. Montaya that seems to be hitting the brakes later than most others! Had he not used Ralf a stop post he would first have got the car down to cornering speed when almost at the runoff area!

Still I suspect he forgot that he was braking on the dirty side (thats a fact)!

And then theres the unknown factor that neither you nor I can know: was he brakes to cold?!...its vere possible that he hit he pedal in time!....

  • Do not think that I believe Montoya to be a reckless idiot here, but he took a chance: Braking very late which could have worked out fine and made his race but this time did not!

I have nothing against the man, and he was popular for having balls to make drastic moves.

But to REALLY jugde a situation like this, we would also need what we can never have: the telemetry!

We dont have to agree on everything, its nice to share opinions!

    Cheers to you, Sir!

  • lol.

    you deluded idiot.

  • he hit ralf because he broke so late and was trying to avoid the ferrari - moron. completely montoyas fault. He made a pretty poor start and tried to make up for it with late breaking

  • Exactly, and also locked up the brakes rather dramatically.

  • jackattack1988

look the toyota that pass them after the crash, ralf's williams, the bar on the outside

the only one that broke on that moment was that ferrari, and montoya had no where else to go

  • I see mgarofano blames Schumacher for Montoya not winning a world title. Montoya had the talent to win a championship, but he lacked the motivation to get the title. Schumacher put hard work and had motivation to win. It more than just talent to get you by in Formula 1.

  • he made a misstake and the others are guilty 0:17

    thats JPM

    skills: outstanding

    personallity: something wrong

  • He's waving sorry - no one could blame anyone but themselves in his situation

  • Nobody but he can drive that fast without a proper front wing.

  • Watch Monza 2003 hight light just for example and you ll understand that "something"was wrong!!Listen Briatore!!!So...baby schumy should to learn to walk on his own legs..withouth Barrichello ,Sauber, and Politic..!! Obviously Montoya has been above all this, showing to all the world what is a natural talent driver you can't stop.If people ignore all this is because many of them watch to much television and they usually think following the mainstream.Watch things carefully and you ll understand

  • montoya is one of the best drivers F1 ever had but off track i think hes an asshole, he cud've been WDC if he stayed...

  • Another video is now forbidden.

Schumacher vs montoya du dust .

I suppose that to forbid video is one of the clearest signals of the weakness of F1 management that in this way would close the way to all the people that now are going to understand what happened against Montoya. Simply shameful ....the dirty game never finished

  • @mgarofano "The Dirty Game", finished when Montoya left F1. There are plenty of Montoya vs Schumacher videos on YouTube still. And many more F1 videos that have nothing to do with either Montoya or Schumacher are being blocked by FOM, so this really disproves your theory about "The Dirty Game" never finishing. It had done so, a long time ago!

  • It was always the same story with this driver, he put the rest in a situation in which they had to choose between being passed or crashed

  • Well, to me that sounds what racing is all about. That is why F1 it's got a bit boring. Some times he coul've been more patient, but if you are not going to take risks you are not going to win.

  • See, who needs a front wing? It's useless.

  • the pack has been slowed down by the cars goinf one after another. When the distance during the cars in front of him would increase and they would be able to run fast, you would loose a lot on fast curves cause the car would understear- you would need to slow down, other ways you wouldn't be able to take the corner. Front wing is fundamental to be fast, especially in fast turns.

  • Formula 1 does. You didn't see the understeer everywhere?

  • to Kurac 80 - well, actually on a F1 there's no room for anything else but useful items.Undeniably Montoya was still daring hard even with an undriveable car....

  • The V10's sound sooooo much better!

  • haha kinda seemed it didnt do anything, he was driving like it wasnt borken

  • How the hell was he driving that way with a broken front wing?

  • hes Juan Pablo Montoya. he can drive anything

  • Expect a McLaren.

  • *shrugs* Low speed stuff it doesn't matter so much, plus it looks like the wing is still working slightly. Everyones fighting so he can keep up as well, until the faster corners then he drops miles back.

  • Even in the short video there, you could see him progressively falling behind. Though that might have also been due to some bad cornering.

    Regardless, cool.

"Hmm, the wing broke. Eh, whatev. *floors pedal*"

  • I absolutly agree with einGynaekologe Hamilton totally cracked under the pressure at Fuji

  • MONTOYA MONTOYA HALA!!!

  • 2008 fuji speedway. lewis hamilton is penalized for late braking without hitting anyone. this video shows that it hapens alot and everyone late brakes. montoya actually hit someone this time but it's no big deal it's racing and it's exciting. I am a montoya fan btw :D . and HUGE lewis hamilton fan :D

  • Bullshit! Hamilton Broke to late behinde Räikönnen, while Montoya does it in front of Ralph. Thats an big difference! Simply, if you are behinde someone you can shoot him off the track by braking too late. This is no stockcar race! He was penalyzied for right. Räikönnen and some other driver lost many positon because of this hothead

  • not a good driver at all but i like how he manage to keep the car with broken spoiler

  • He was a F1 driver...and he won races, he was good. But his temper sometimes maked him to lost entire races.

  • WTF man? JPM was one of the fastest drivers in F1! Just watch his 2 laps: 2002 Monza and 2003 Hockenheim. (And the others, of course :) ) We miss you JPM!

  • thatwasntagoodstartanddrive.

  • Barrichello without Ferrari'd have been down on the grid. You'll probably talk about Austria, but how about Monaz 04, Indy... where he was handed the win! Sauber?

  • Watch Monza 2003 hight light just for example and you ll understand that "something"was wrong!!Listen Briatore!!!So...baby schumy should to learn to walk on his own legs..withouth Barrichello ,Sauber, and Politic..!! Obviously Montoya has been above all this, showing to all the world what is a natural talent driver you can't stop.If people ignore all this is because many of them watch to much television and they usually think following the mainstream.Watch things carefully and you ll understand

  • "showing to all the world what is a natural talent driver you can't stop"

Well, yes. Ralf couldn't stop Montoya of hitting him here, nor did Kimi in USA '06, Schumacher i Monaco '04 and a looong etc

  • Very funny so...kimi last Monaco GP?...shumacher...parking in Monaco...?or you prefer the stupid and failure movement against villeneuve.....?(About Monaco 04 Ferrari declared they had problems with brake sistem and Button said was not the first time schumy did crazy stop like that during safety car).

  • Weren't we talking about Mr. Montoya? Or maybe... you have to criticise other drivers to avoid the fact that he wasn't the "supreme" driver everyone expected. He is in Indy now, why?LOL

  • I show you evident subjects about the cospiracy and I realize you haven't answer.

Of course this is about Montoya ,why do you think they did all that -Barrichello-Ferrari Fia and the blu ferari(Sauber)? I told you, watch things carefully and you ll understand.

And to be correct ,at the moment Montoya is in Nascar not Indy.

  • So... There is a conspiracy to damage Juan Pablo, as no one wants him to be a F1 WDC. OMG. How about this:

-Montoya is not such a driver to be F1 WDC ;)

  • About your personal opinion about Montoya I simply can say that any opinion is always respectable and it is always an important resurce. But apart from opinions go back and watch carefully things -Barrichelllo's job,Ferrari fia, judges and Sauber(massa and frentzen)- and try to give some answers or comment on this.

  • @mgarofano this is true

  • @Gorkachuuu Just because F1 is a swindle didn't you understand yet?

    Lol

  • @mgarofano Then I love this kind of swindles!

  • @Gorkachuuu More clear couldn't be. My taste is a little bit different, I like and prefer sport. But ,be clear ,...i respect your opinion, tastes are tastes

  • So ...Be serious ,there are thousands of them...!!!So I'm talking about serious argouments no one talk Have you something to say about it? Barrichello's Job,Sauber,Fua...

  • I never liked Montoya because of his style of driving - he'll throw you off, if he has to overtake you. And this accident was all his fault.

  • yeh, but u could say the same about ayrton senna in that respect i guess. he also had many over-opportunistic moments. but i still reackon montoya was a bit under-rated, although not quick enough for kimi

  • his wheel locks

  • He never was the suppossed future of Michael Schumacher. However, he was a nice driver to see racing (I don't care if he is not now in F1, but he was not that bad)

  • jpm brake and then turn

  • Smooth, Juan Pablo...

  • 100% his own fault!

  • is montoya

  • LOZER!!
