While all Nepalese were classified as "namasine" (slaveable) in the Muluki Ain(national code) of Nepal, MaGuRaLi were classified as "namasine" (unslavable). The Rana government could not enslaved magar, gurung, rai and limbu so they are the true high, top caste. Even the outside world knows MaGuRaLi as the top caste as the Gurkhas.

I had met a man in Pokhara some years back when I was in Nepal who said that Ram Krsihna used to clean plates and kitchen utensils in a small hotel at Damauli before he came to limelight. That man was a driver then and used to stop by the hotel and saw him there almost every week. But I am not trying to demoralize Mr. Dhakal here, what im trying to convey is that we can bring a big change in our lives should we struggle.
