Glitch the game by going into Mushroom Road and get Asch in your party, and then eject the disc. You'll be able to run off screen then into a white Abyss (punny). Wakl a good distance, WITHOUT pulling up the menu or making the game load anything else. Once you feel you've walked far enough, put the disc back in to load, and you should have Asch in your party while in the feild, and can continue the game. As you can see, Luke will remain in cutscenes, but battle will be with Asch. That, or codes.

No, I don't think it has been confirmed, and I definitly havn't tried it, but that's how everyone else says they've done it, and it's worked for them (proof in this video, as well as the Asch vs Asch video). There are only two parts of the game where you can actually control Asch, while Luke is unconcious in Tear's room and the team goes to Ortion Cavern, and then at Mushroom Road (when doing that sidequest during the "supposed to" time), so it's the only way I can see it working, too.

hey a lot of pepole say this is a good game

so theres no bad content sept vilince and some blood thats pretty good i hate bad content games and the battle sistem looks confuseing but pretty fun i might get this game

It's actually a very good game in my opinion. Yeah, there is some violence, but nothing more than exists in any other RPG honestly.

And actually, the battle system isn't as hard as it looks. It does look chaotic and confusing, but honestly, it's the easiest one in the series in my opinion.

I did the Nebilim sidequest in this playthrough with Asch. That sidequest on normal requires being at least level 70, I was at at least level 74, so that likely was it. Nothing else was done to boost stats.

But he doesn't have Nebilim equipped. He has the Key of Lorelei. And he doesn't seem to be a very high level.

I didn't say that because of the weapon equip. Beating Nebilim on normal difficulty requires a good amount of levels. My Nebilim video on here was from the same playthrough as I did this battle. I beat her in less than 8 minutes on normal difficulty (my first try took a half an hour) and only had to use one life bottle to revive Tear when she went down.

This was one of my favorite battles in the game, even if his second form killed me the first time (yeah, I'm noobish that way XD).

That was about my reaction the first time I did this (which was when I was recording this one, this was actually my third playthrough)

I like the Kitchen utensils version I did better though, much more amusing and I can't stop laughing at Jade poking at Van with a fork while in a bathrobe and slippers. It's just so Jade.

Asch is using the Key of Lorelei and Luke is equipped with Soul Crush (can be obtained by winning advanced singles as Luke, in fact all but Jade's best weapons are obtained that way)

As far as unlocking some of Luke's artes, those are likely the combo ones. Use each arte in the combo 50 times and Luke will learn the arte. So for instance, if you want to unlock Rending Fang Blade, use Rending Thrust and Fang Blade each 50 times.

Check the character that is coming up as 3P to make sure they aren't in semi-auto or manual mode, they need to be on auto or they won't do anything.

yeah i would but i cant select the character for some reason, i set everyone else up in auto but i cant get that character to switch to auto, i bought a multitap so i could do it with a third controller but it wont read the multitap nor let me switch him to auto. is there anyway to switch them out of battle?

Remove them from the party after the battle is over, but you should be able to use the moon selector to switch spots in battle and outside battle you should be able to play with the modes, that is just weird that you can't.

k, for some reason i can't change him to auto. i cant controll him whatsoever all he does is stand there...now i know my multipad works fine but the game wont pick up the other controllers and i cant even switch to him to turn him to auto....it really makes the game harder cause i have no idea how to get him on auto. i press sart while i have the menu up in a fiht to switch characters but i cant switch to the one being caled 3p....you wouldnt happen to know why my multitap isnt working for tota?
