i have to be honest here.while i don't believe in religion i still have pangs about not following the religion i was brought up into. i know intellectually that religion is false but it does still bother me. what is my fate? i do't know but all i can do is follow the dictates of my will....

While you Xians are at it, foretell my future! I can be abrasive online, especially to people who are being dicks to me! Sorry, recent issues with a message board I got kicked off of. But, otherwise, I'm a nice guy. I like helping people. I feel sorry for folks who have problems I can't help. You say that believing something that has no proof, in fact has evidence against it, is better then any act of kindness or love that I can do? And your God, who is "all-loving" will send me to hell?

I'm not sure about the no funeral/memorial thing. I think we should give our loved ones/friends/enemies the opportunity to say their last goodbyes. I want to be cremated and they can put my ashes in a cardboard box until they scatter them in the wind.
That will be my fate, floating through the air until I settle on a leaf or a rooftop or a blade of grass. If I were a poet, I would write something about that. :-))))

oh, of course... they can do whatever they want to remember me or "celebrate" my life, etc.
i just meant there won't be any superstitious activity like making a cross over my body, burying me to "rest", holding up traffic for my funeral, saying prayers (believe me, not that there'll more than 6 or 7 people upset by my death, lol)

You don't need a funeral, but they'll still bury your dead corpse somewhere, i mean, they can burn you but then your just some ash in a posssibly ugly vase so... I kinda like tha vigin burial thing, you know being put on some wood,s et on fire and pushed into the sea, that's perfect for me =) Maybe a tomd stone for people to remember me saying something like "Don't wait for me, i won`t come back" or something funny like §Do not disturbe, i`m down stairs!"^^

I am not even sure if they know either way if you can get mad cow from eating beef. You'd think that they would chance it, it would give a person dying the chance of a few more years of life. But then look at JW's will let a family member die rather than them having a blood transfusion.

umm im gonna pray 4 u.. i got told off hard by my cousins friend coz they all athiest but im gonna preach to those who need it.. it's like.. if God isn't real.. wouldn't it be better to live as if there is anyway? to what i believe.. i die and i get who knowz how much love and life from God in Heaven.. twin turboz etc :P watever i want.. the poor on Earth will never be hungry again.. but according to athiests.. justice won't ever be served?? if a poor man lives n dies n never gets a enjoyment
