@MegamanNG Actually, if you pay close attention, you'll notice that, like with all the other RPGs of the era with "silent protagonists," Crono really IS speaking to the other characters, we just don't get to read any of it (aside from the choice parts, obviously). Easily the most obvious example from the very beginning of the game: "What's your name? Crono? What a nice name." So he "speaks with his actions"? What, did he do the YMCA dance to instead spell out 'Crono'?

Aside from the retranslation... they changed absolutely nothing, only added new stuff.

Also, I like the ORIGINAL as in the oldschool nintendo version the best, the reason why has nothing to do with new or old or anything it's because that version was the one I literally grew up playing. The only issue I have with the DS version is they changed the way frog talks, I think it gave frog a unique character and they butchered it. Everyone has their own opinions. I like CT cause It's awesome.

You are a ripped up dude, hanging with 2 hot chicks, Killing dinousars, meeting a robot and can kick butt, visting an acient land used by an evil energy, destoying a freaky thing called the black omen, and riding a crazy ship called the Epoch through time.
This game may not be the best game of all time for me but it sure was the most badass for me!

Even if they do release it for the virtual console it WOULDN´T MEAN ANYTHING cause they MUST release EVERY game for the virtual console, it´s like a "rule". What we REALLY WANT is a REMAKE sort of like the one they did with FF3,´cause it would be better for DS,i think.
Psh, I don't want it on the DS, I want it on the GBA with a small graphical upgrade, an improved translation (if needed... But this was a SNES RPG, so it's probably for the best), and some extras. Or on the Virtual Console for the Wii not changed at all.
I've never played CT, and I'd like to play it in it's semi-first form (legally), cuz that just seems better. :3
Who wouldn´t want to see a remake of Chrono Trigger? Don´t know why they(Square-Enix) haven´t done it. I think that this game along with Final Fantasy VI are both the greatest of the greatest among RPGs. I support you in this, WE WANT CHRONO TRIGGER! DAMN IT!
