Bush is a great living example of Republican humor. He ran as a joke, he was an impersonating a born again southern patriot with military experience, pretending to be a rancher accustomed to clearing brush, he impersonated a pilot with his flight suit and cod piece, he impersonated a cowboy gunslinger with his two six guns swagger, and Republicans didn't laugh at him. According to the video, it didn't appear that he was being "yanked off" of stage. While some of the Republican jokes were met with "ooohs" or boos, they were still received in good spirit and I didn't think the boos were of the nasty variety.

So I would have assumed, from the video, that he had simply run out of time. The problem remains as to why GOP organisers stated he was pulled because the jokes were "inappropriate" though.
