I don't think Tibet got the title from Yockey's Imperium. If you look up the word on Wikipedia, it also talks about Imperium as a concept in traditional forms of Christianity, regarding the lord's realm versus man's realm, etc. This song clearly has religious overtones, as does the other live version on here which begins with "The LORD is my shephard..." he emphasizes the word lord in opposition to some other leader who might claim imperium status. Also, Yockey's Imperium is not a Christian text

The old "are they Nazis?" argument again. Tibet wrote "Hitler as Kalki" in which he openly links Hitler to Antichrist figures, and dedicates the song to his beloved father on the grounds that he fought the Nazis, and yet the argument still keeps cropping up.

@LazGimp Oh God, how is Tibet even vaguely a Nazi? He's a little...odd admittedly, but I've not come across anything that suggests any Far Right sympathies on his part. I can get why people would call Douglas P. a Nazi (though he clearly isn't if you actually open your mind and do your own research into him), but David Tibet? No, never.

i didn´t know that the title of this current93 record comes from the book imperium from "Parker Yockey".

I was shocked, when i red about him on wikipedia, Yockey was a antisemitic neo-fascist writer and the book imperium is full of his anti-semitic world view.

i like c93 very much and i´ve got a few lps, but now i cant listen to imperium anymore, without having a bad feeling.

Does anyone know more about the link between david tibet and Parker Yockey?

Did he say anything in an interview ?

@grodock19 I do not usually do this but, ok. Current 93 have an attitude of real artists when they create their music. From what I hear in their music they are very much into "philosophy". Philosophy is full of "sophistic" questions without answers created as tools for word-wars and mental manipulation. Religion & Politics misuse exactly these parts which are turned into "mind viruses" and used to overload, overwhelm, manipulate and control. Fascism, Socialism, Capitalism - typical examples.
