I think Americans do that on purpose....I mean, it seems to be a matter of arrogance to ignore the game that the entire world loves (except for them obviously). Something like when they ignored the world telling them not to invade Iraq because there was no evidence that Iraq had weapons of massive destruction and that the most affected part would be innocent civilians who had nothing to do with terrorism. You know, typical attide of an arrogant empire that never listens to anyone
How about scoring a last second goal to advance to the knockout stages of the world's largest single sporting event? That would work to. Good vid, though.
I thought this was real. Got bored than angry as I wanted to know whats doing on, some bull shit advertisments statistics. But great job MrHDfootball!
Get rid of the soccer ball and quit going to commercial breaks and maybe I would watch. JK, I've actually watched every match the US National team has played in this World Cup, and I'm American. I also watch MLS whenever the New England Revolution is on CSNNE.
And how did some of you guys miss the fact that this is a joke? "American broadcasters need more character .." lol. Lets see Madden or Michaels doing a soccer match .. will probably need some coffee ..
Let me rephrase what MrHDfootball said:
"If you're not from the US and do not watch normal US sports, you will not understand this video or what it's impling."
what american broadcasters need is more character and style, flair to their commentating. In other countries commentators use nick names for the players in order to describe them or their playing style. commentators are more enthusiastic as well and come up with creative ways to describe whats going on. Look up john motson, or manolo lama from spain, el perro from mexico, or anyone from univsion commentators. they make the game as well as the players
as an American I can say this is really what watching sports is like

Add Cheerleaders with thongs on the sidelines and men will watch the World Cup.
Hot babes from every nation on the sidelines shaking their asses. Hell yeah!
I love football or soccer as USA fans know it, but it's an funny idea!
