  • Why they left this full version out of the album ill never know

  • Beautiful version, it would deserve an official release.

  • SICK! Brian does what he knows best... Just Breathtaking.

  • always thank you dave for this songs...but were do you find all this?

  • this is similar to the one they performed live at the rainbow

  • that is some sweet ass guitar! Brian May is a god!

  • Este es una de las primeras canciones heavymetal y progressive que escuché; ahora escucho bandas como Black sabbath, led Zeppelin, Deep Purple y se nota la influencia hacia Queen...

  • Queen ROX !!! Once of the best brian's guitar solo's I did ever hear.

  • i think the final version is better, but the solo is amazing

  • I don't agree, this version is so hot, it knocks my socks off! The only thing I would change is the final vocal. Why in the world did they shorten it?

  • @ibraninnho I prefer this version simply because of Brian's solo :)

  • best band ever! queen rocks!!!

  • Fucking amazing!!

  • reminds me to stevie ray vaughn. god bless to stevie and queen too

  • @kjsh987

    God bless them!

The only difference: when Brian May composed most of what you hear here, SRV were 13 years old, starting to grow musically.

As a Queen fan I can tell you, it was 1967 and Brian May was a freaking monster, he has said before that he haven't improved technically since that year.

Of course I love Stevie Ray Vaughan too, is one of my favorites! Long life to Rock'n Roll!

    Cheers

  • DaveRFuller, where did u get all of the rare older versions of Queen stuff? this is great!

  • This version of son and daughter is available on the Queen At The BBC album

  • This is amazing!!

  • Gosh this is great! Much more powerful and stronger than the first LP version - especially with the full solo. But this is a fantastic track anyway.

  • oh yeah!!! very good!!!! bella!!!

  • ca ganda som

  • very good footage for this great version of song, the most zeppelin-like queen track. first queen album has some awesome hard/heavy stuff which still sounds great and it inspired the whole NWOBHM scene by discarding blues instead of speed

  • Bloody excellent!! Thanks Dave for all your hard work, bringing such fantastic footage out to everybody. I appreciate all that you do in letting the world know the great sounds that Queen gave to us all.

  • sounds a lot like the 'live at the beeb' version

  • its is live at the bbc i'm sure of it

i guess they recorded it at langham studio

    cheers

  • yes, this was released on 'at the beeb', but slightly edited.

  • Who are you, to know about Queen? Have you interviews Freddie for real? If so, thank you.

  • That Brian May as mad guitar skillz

  • AWESOME STUFF! Thanks for these! Queen was by far the best rock band ever, NO ONE will Ever compare.rip Freddie

  • @drambuierocks I'm glad you're such an enthusiastic about music, and know every band that existed or will exist on this planet.

HAIL THE ALL-KNOWING MIGHTY ROCK GOD

  • It is "brigthon rock'n'roll" which one hears?

  • Yeah, Brian does a 'Brighton Rock' style solo in the middle.

  • The solo was cut for the studio version to make the song more marketable. They later re-recorded it for "Brighton Rock"

  • Yes much better...!

  • Better than the album version

  • the pictures are brilliant
