  • good arch!!

  • spray the back of your tights with water and your shoes will stick to your tights and not slip off

  • Hi! great arch! for tips on breaking in check my vids :)

  • Great arch!! keep pushing through your foot, Safety tips: CARPET + POINTE SHOES=POSSIBLY BROKEN ANKLES!!!!! :p and thicker elastics would help so you don't push over your shoe too much, you can pull a muscle in your arch, it almost happened to my friend....keep up the good work((: !!!!!!

  • very nice, knuckling happens a lot wiht new shoes try one of the ways to break it in that were mention below. as for requests I would like to see a echappe to arabesque. You dance very well.

  • You need to get thicker elastics, hunny

  • For the backs that come off,you can have a spray bottle {dollar store bought or whatever, just make sure it's small } and spritz a little water onto your tights. It'll have your pointes stick to your feet better, just don't put any outside your pointes or stain stain stain!

  • use jett super glue or really any kind of LIQUID NOT GEL super glue to put in the box right when you get them before you break them in or dance in them and they'll last at least 3 months longer. They should anyway...

  • @choccochipX3 I did that, it works really well. Same pointe shoes as you.

  • I love your room !

  • Carpet=bad. One foot is stronger than the other it looks like, but I have the same problem. You just have to work on it. Breaking in, well, just dance on them. They'll break in in time.

  • Nice shoes! Off topic, but I really like the backround. lol, I wish my room had such lovly curtains!

  • I think you should turnout your left leg a bit more so that it is even with your right one :D I also agree that dancing on carpet is not that great. It can be very dangerous.

  • tip 1: boil a kettle and hold ur pointe shoes over the opening. let the steam go into the pointe and quickly put the shoe on without any ouch pads. kmeep them on until they feel cold and hard again. this will make them mould to ur feet.

tip2: Put ur pointes on with ur ouch pads. cross one of ur feet over the other and let the behinde legs knee push into the back of the front legs knee. this should help ur pointe find ur arch.

    tip3: sleep with them on!

    Good Luck x

  • I love my Grishko 2007s!!

  • you need to point through your insteps more.

  • wow those shoes look amazing on your feet

  • ur right foots more broken in than ur left ;)

  • Sorry but it's really bad for you to go en pointe on carpet it's really bad for you!

  • seem to be more supportive than ur last pair =] altho maybe theyre not broken in as well yet?

  • best not to dance on carpet btw !!!

  • Awesome shoes! I want to be on pointe soooo bad!

  • NONONONO not carpet! you can see the wobbling because of the carpet! But your other vireos are wonderful!

  • Oh and also you can try a thicker elastic. I have the 1 inch kind.

  • For breaking in, my teacher has us bend the shank a little and step on the box. If the backs are slipping off you can take a little bit of water and spray it on your tights (but NOT your pointe shoes!) and when you slip the heel back over your tights it will stick a little bit better.

    Hope this helps!

  • i have grishkos too and i love them. i advise you to break the sole and bend it back. Also move the elastics farther back on your ankle, that way the backs dont fall off. Do some ankle exercises because it looks like you have weak ankles like me.

  • black tights and pointe shoes bother me.

but your arches are really pretty. i would recommend a harder shank or different shoe for you because grishkos are way to easy and are for people with their arches not fully developed. plus challenges are good for ballerinas. you really need to find where you can put your feet and confidence to its best.

  • i would say thicker elastics too if they are coming off.

  • no to the carpet! its very bad.

  • your elastics are too thin in width thats why theyre coming off.. they look good on you though!

  • put water on the back of them and they wont come off dont make a big deal about them not lasting long, I am 12 and my pointe shoes turn dead in 1-2 weeks!

  • very good!

  • great job, what shank do you have?

This song is silly for pointe work, try something classical

  • i love the parody to this song!!!!!!!!!

  • Type in Breaking in Pointe shoes and click on the first one!! Beautiful

  • Comment removed

  • this is TOTALLY wat after u made this vid but to break the box in u can "sit" on them. just a little so they get squished down a little but it works

  • They look beautiful on your feet.. but NEVER dance on carpet! :) Coz your feet wont be so lovely once you have broken them! haha

  • I really like them on your feet!

    P.S i hate the song.

  • dont dance on carpet

  • If you have good arches, which it looks like you do, I suggest just breaking them in with your feet. :)

  • What shank do you have? You're very good!

  • i hate grishkos. but they look really good on you!!

  • What's your favourite brand?

  • I prefer European Balance. But everyone likes different styles. And everyone has different feet. :)

    They look great on you!!

  • these look gorgeous on your feet!

the backs of my shoes also come of a bit even when i have elastics! if you have any tips to help that would be great!

also i am new to pointe so please have a look at my videos and comment ! any help is appreciated! :) xx

  • I would recommend always going on pointe with straight knees (unless otherwise instructed) and also try to roll through your shoes more.

  • Your knuckling a bit and its not best to dance on carpet!!!!

  • how do i stop knuckling?

  • I think its just probably from being on carpet:) but sometimes your knuckle when your shoes are dead and i don't think thats the case here, so its the carpet

  • @unavalablemee ,Hey, are you still having trouble with the backs coming off? if so, get a small peice of elastic in a loop on the back, and when you put your pointe shoes on, run your ribbons through the loop!

  • on the sliding problem you seem to have get a small spray bottle and spray the heels of your TIGHTS not the shoe, it may stain the shoe if you put it directly on them!

well at least thats what I do!

    <3

you have great feet for pointe!

    keep going at it.

  • you're knuckling a little bit near the start, but it might be the carpet.

I find dancing on carpet so much more uncomfortable then on tile/wood.

  • those shoes look really good on your feet :) dancing en pointe on carpet is pretty dangerous so just be careful :)

  • don't dance on the carpet or you're heading straight to a twisted ankle.

You're really good, the shoes just need to be broken in(:

  • those shoes look beautiful on your feet!!! you're already extremely up onto your box. I would take your shoe and set it on the floor so that the bottom sole of your shoe is facing up, and then bend it 2 break it in. You can also rub water on the outsides of the box on your shoe, but it leaves a temporary stain. I hope that helps!

  • those fit your feet really good:)

  • Thanks they really feel good too! Any requests you want?

    Thanks again :)

  • what do you mean requests?

  • Like for videos.

  • can you pop balloons en pointe crush a can with your pointes or do some tap dance en pointe, yes its possible.
