Hi Sandra, Thx for the recommendations. I bought 'Taupe Gris'. I gave it to my mom cuz she loved it. I bought 'Bare Study' and I love it! 'Well Dressed' didn't show up on me since I'm darker than you. Also bought 'Soft Nude' today but it washes me out and looks very chalky on my pigmented lips. So bummed. It's very difficult finding the perfect nude shade. But I agree Revlon colorburst is a great lipstick. I bought the 'Lilac' for 75% off and I love the texture! Thank you!

Yes, my skin tone does change quite a bit throughout the year. I tan very easily even though I use a full spectrum sunblock religiously. I'm going to try out both the Bobbi Brown and the Laura Mercier. After watching this video, I'm going to the Chanel counter to check out 'Taupe Gris' right after work tomorrow! =)
@samjaely taupe gris was part of the fall collection and isn't permanent.....counters ran out of it fast and i haven't been at one that has any left... :( though i will say, the color is beautiful but the pigmentation isn't as good as chanel eyeshadows tend to be....
Sandra, I have the NYC Creme Blush stick in 'Plaza Pink'. Do you think it's similar to MAC's 'Well Dressed'? I have dry skin and prefer cream blushes. Thanks for your help.
@samjaely I love that blush stick and I have it too! no it's not really similar... it's more warm (it's actually very similar to peachykeen blush by mac)... well dressed is cool toned.
@samjaely no problem! if you're like me and your skin tone tends to change a lot (fake tan, etc) the laura mercier might be a better buy since you can customize your colour easier :)
I was so mad Chanel's Black Pearl chipped on me the first day too! I buffed, bottom coat, 2 full coats, top coat... the whole nine yards. THE NEXT DAY! Ugh, I'm not buying chanel nail polishes again.

@samjaely depending on your blemishes... the Secret Camouflage is slightly better coverage (so it's nice for those pesky after-acne marks) but it's a bit dry so if you have a pimple that's flaky or healing, the BB is more creamy and tends to do a better job to cover!
I couldn't agree more with you Sandra, Lucky Lucky Lavender was also my summer go to nail colour! I've also discovered a close BarryM dupe so I can replace it when it runs out :) x

Nars sheer glow - foundation [always sampling others but none compare]
MUFE full cover concealer - for spots
MAC harmony - bronzer
Nars deep throat - blush [i have soo much blush but this is always my safety net!]
MUFE aqua eyes 1L (deep gray) - eyeliner [for black i love blacktrack but with 6am mornings in the hospital i choose a quick and less stark color]
Loreal voluminous - mascara
MAC brule - eyeshadow [combos change daily but this is always my highlight]

@samjaely depending on your blemishes... the Secret Camouflage is slightly better coverage (so it's nice for those pesky after-acne marks) but it's a bit dry so if you have a pimple that's flaky or healing, the BB is more creamy and tends to do a better job to cover!
