She's doing really well for her age!! But I would make sure she follows through with her arm every time and not "short arming" the pitch. If she follows through her pitch will be faster and more effective! Other wise it becomes more like a change up! Keep up the good work!
She's Very Veery Good, I'm 12 And There Are Some Pitchers My Age Who Cannot Do Pitches Like Those And Get Them Right. Please Tell Her To Keep Up The Good Work And She Can Be Even Better Than How Much She Is, I Hope She Continues With Softball. Good Luck ! Even Though You Don't Need It (:
thanks, we havea good group of girls and parents but we have along way to go. i remember seeing dbat in crowley, is ur daughter a 2000 or 2001. my daughter turned 10 in october
@softballdad88 Thank you, Dani has been working at it since she was 6yrs old. She will be 10 next month. I was not there that weekend. I was in Houston with my other daughter at a College Exposure Tournament. Keep up the good work with you DD. I'm sure she is good. I saw you guys in Crowley. Your team looked pretty intimidating.
She looks good im sure my team will play D-bat 2000 in the Spring,We are from Oklahoma City and will play in Texas some,Did she ever get to pitch against the Anderson Express y2k last year and its good you work on location because that fastball would get hit if she could only throw it hard down the middle
@rmolake07 She did pitch against Anderson. I think we won once but lost later in the day because she was pitching with an injured hand. Anderson is a good team. We will see you next year again I'm sure.
You can find her under 9 yr old fastpitch Jordan. I believe for the most part also you with proper mechanics would be fine . I just worry the repetitive motion thing. Right now Jordan is on a break until dec 1 and then back we will be back at it. As far as her fastball, she has been seeing a different instructor and her fastball drops ever so little so the peel should be a natural progression. Once we get back at it i will post more videos. keep up the great work.
We have one more weekend to go. After that I think we will take a big break from playing. This weekend the ooposing team came over to us after the game to let us know they Dani at 50MPH throught the game. I was surprised. We don't focus on the number. We work on location. It's very cool though. I looked at Jordan's video. She is good. Keep working with her. She is going to be a force.
I have seen your daughter for the last couple years and she is simply awesome. I am not sure about all the spin pitches so early especially when she would kill with her fastball and change, but awesome. My daughter is also 9 but an 01 bday. she is throwing now about 46 to 47 with a good change but havent even started a drop ball.
If she can throw a good fast ball the peel drop is very easy to throw. I believe that if they use the correct mechanics injury is not an issue because it's being thrown underhand. I have heard some people argue against it. I believe it depends on the kid. Dani is an 01 also, she has never complained of any pain. I would love to see your DD in action.
Thank you. She hurt her pitching had thumb this weekend sliding into home during the first inning of the tournament. She did not play much this weekend because of it. I hope it heals fast. I don't think it's broken.
You're a very good pitcher. I really liked your drops because I can't do that very well. Very good work.

She has amazing footwork. Does she ever get the tender fingertips from the laces? I hated that part :)
