I bet parkinson meds are ridiculously expensive, and it's only because people need it.. That makes me sick to see how much some meds cost, and its not because the meds have ingredients that are expensive either -- Diabetes, Aids, etc... For instance, the medication to treat opiate addiction (suboxone) is around 10 dollars per pill and nothing inside the pill costs much at all.. I'm not comparing addiction to other diseases, just talking about the issue with meds in general..

One type is - like Michael has - is whereby your muscles recieve random pulses due to death of cells in the basol ganglia.

The second type is whereby your muscles spasm when you move and deliberatley send messages.

So, when michael is controlling his movement, he is able to keep his muscles still. Hope that makes sense :)
