  • It sounds like you are referring to Joint Compound which is used for drywall. Plaster cannot be premixed as it chemically reacts instead of simply drying like joint compound. You could use it, but only in thin layers with a day's drying between. It would take weeks to do what plaster can do in minutes.

  • can you use regular plaster that's premixed, the stuff you use for dry wall?
