  • why AMROO ADIBE does not talk about these poor people? where is ALGHANDOUR? and All the EGYPTIAN ARTISTES? where are they?

  • 0:51 <- my god i couldn't stop laughing. it's a serious issue, but my lord.. he was a pisser!

  • great, now I'm laughing at him when I'm supposed to be horrified.

  • the best way to shut up egypt is to invite israel to ethiopia to create a dam in ethiopia so that water does not flow to sudan and egypt.

  • ethiopia has to charge them for the water coming from ethiopia and uganda and tanzania

  • shut da fuck u retarded mutha fucka! oo ya and Saharan residents shud charge the Amazon rain forest for all the sand (iron nutrition) that the seasonal winds blow.

  • it's a shame the poor people in egypt are treated like that..they are human..i agree maybe the egyptian government should drink the water for 1 week and see how they would feel then! my heart goes out to the poor people in these crisis! god bless u all and be with u

  • @americanbabe100 Amen to that!

  • storm the damn parlament drag them out and make them drink it maybe then the politicians will make a move.

  • Please you should post an up date to video I do know in 2007 and 2008 many wells was dug in other countries near EGYPT but because of Gov. paper work charty groups can not go into Egypt yes to AUE WHY ???

  • wow ...you suck

  • It is shameful, that nations with vast otherwise unusable desert land, are not using such valuable assets to lay out passive solar distillation plants. The level of stubbornness and ignorance boggle the mind.

  • The Nile dams must be destroyed or thoroughly modified.

They have tampered with a system that worked for thousands of years.

When sea levels rise, and the dams are still there,

and have not been changed to allow sediment floods,

and to skim top water for consumption,

Egypt will die. And it will have been murdered.

  • Overpopulation. Overpopulation! There is plenty of water! The problem is people are breeding more users of water (and hydroelectricity! Everyone stop having stinking babies! If you think that it's your 'God-given' right to have babies, then drink angels while you pray, but don't complain about lack of water.

  • Overpopulation IS the core problem. But even if WW III, eugenics, pandemics, and brutal natural disasters started today, there is not plenty of fresh water. Those times are gone forever.

    Interpreting implications,

Abrahamic faiths have to be modified or stifled, or none of the above can possibly be stopped.

Perhaps even leading to total human extinction. There are no "my cause is more important than yours" issues.

All human caused problems must be dealt with.

    There cannot be an "either~or".

  • Well, why are people still adhering to Abrahamic faiths?

  • Several reasons. It's a profitable scam. Fleecers of the flocks bribe the powerful to look the other way, and use tax money to subsidies their businesses while paying none themselves. There are "plainclothes clergy" in almost every boardroom and government. Intolerance of religions are taboo. The brain parasite appeals to bred-in narcissism. Child abuse in the form of indoctrination is not only legal but encouraged. Those who start life ignorant, can't think to do better. They breed like roaches.

  • Wow. You sound like me! So how is it possible to put down these religions? Maybe the economic collapse will do it?

  • Put them down?

As if they were sick animals?

Or are you implying that it's possible to deal with the problem without dealing with the person?

The economic collapse is just an echo of the collapse of the web of life. At first it will reinforce their resolve.

If the individual discovers that it's the man in the mirror that they have picked their battles with, then yes, things could turn around, but perhaps not in time.

  • I'm hoping the Abrahamic faiths will fall in the gutter along with Zeus, Thor, and Ra. I can see the level of faith much lower than it used to be just a few years ago. I think a poor economy hurts the belief in the rain-god today just as much as it did yesterday.

  • You are an interesting individual. Do you intend to study racial and religious controversy professionally, or is it strictly personal?

From your commentary, is it safe to assume that your own ancestry is at least tri-racial, and multi religioned? To be fair, I am a "pink". But my bigotry is directed at the haters of every distinction.

I've written a song inspired by your videos, I'll send it in an email.

  • It's personal. I can't think of anyone doing it for a living besides Richard Dawkins. I'm actually mixed of two asian cultures, great guess. And yes, my parents had many different crazy religions going on when I was growing up.

  • @dcprotests haha true, they are not that smart

  • shit what the hell do they do with all that oil money they shourly dont spend it on there people with all that oil money they could make the desert green but the only green there is in some oil sheiks masion lawn and gardens stop the greed give your people some clean drinking water phucking oil mongers

  • Egypt has machines that clean water but the goverment is giving little money to the people and they cant use it for water.

A egyptain is salary is about 6pounds a day

1dollar=6pounds Egypt is in the need of help to get rid of the goverment

  • Aren't there devices (in existance) that are able to collect condensation, gather the water in large amounts, and even filter it?

I imagine that when it get's hot enough around the polluted water areas, that the water evaporates / condensates and falls back to earth in rain-form..

I'm sure there's some type of very simple, effective method.

They should figure out how to filter salt water.. filter out the clean H20 from salt water through condensation.. or something

  • The people with money need to put it towards research into clean water supplies and projects that turn salt water into fresh. If the disgruntled factions of the middle east could turn their energies and causes towards helping people in causes like this instead of what is currently happening, I think this would be a much more worthy cause. I'd also like to add that if they gave women there more freedom, they'd would have twice the creative power to deal with these sort of issues.

  • @845luna why would they use salt water if the have the Nile? And what does women have to do with this shortage? You feminist weirdo. What are the women going to breast feed the nation?

  • Tel Aviv wastes the water left and right while Arabs die of thirst.

  • YEH THAT LAND THAT THEY STOLE FROM US

  • Yup. That sums up what the leadership of the Arab world truly is-- I just hope these protests and rebellions actually succeed.

  • You gotta pick your battles, Egypt isn't the right one.

Also you'd be interested to know that other countries have water shortage problems - not just Arab ones, Australia for one!

  • this is sad....the gov got to do something! good job aljazeera!

  • volume's too low.
