Katharine McPhee continues to surprise fans. Great song! I think she provides the much needed "pop" element to SMASH because not everyone is going to love Broadway show tunes. Variety is the key to more mass appeal. I'm a fan and think she's doing a great job in her first major acting role. Love the show and the whole cast. Can't wait to see how the story unfolds. Especially enjoyed McPhee's Mambo song and dance number in Episode 2! Can't wait for Monday nights! :)
