  • bs is what i say

  • Oh quit your moaning. Its soo much cheaper than UK prices. Uk is almost double that

  • I remember seeing the financing on GASOLINE signs lol

like your seriously finance something that empties in less then a week?

  • We could ride bikes, as I have for the past 19 years. We could save thousands every year, avoid gridlock, and enjoy better health. As long as you are reasonably close to where you need to be, it would make sense to bike.

  • Ok now listen to this. You think you've got it bad? 3.78 litres in a US gallon. We pay up to £1.34 for a litre which is £6.08 per UK gallon or £5.06 per US gallon. Now convert this to US dollars with today's exchange rate and we pay around $9.92 a US gallon!!! or $11.91 a UK gallon! Yes, we can dream of fuel as cheap as yours, it's half the price! Lucky i get over 70 MPG in my car then...

  • More than lucky - your government hasn't suppressed that tech over there! :)

That sucks on the prices. Did you see this little hydrogen conversion gizmo? Maybe you'll get 140 MPG! At the prices you're paying over there...whew. That's a lot.

  • I've not looked at those hydrogen gizmos yet, they tend to be aimed at petrol cars, and my car is diesel. 60% of cars in UK are diesel now due to economy and emmision factors. You can however convert your petrol car to run on LPG (liquid propane gas) like a fork lift truck! You have a seperate tank in the boot. You can switch between the two fuels, the propane is good for cruising but you need the petrol to get the car moving first. LPG is around 50 - 60p per litre in UK so cosiderably cheaper.

  • Th best way to reduce gas price is to reduce our oil consommation.

Use our car more wisely and more efficiently

If the demand drop, the price will drop too

I see too much Truck and Suv.These are the part of the problem because they increase the demand.

  • Better yet, boycott Chevron until they release the NiMH battery patent they aquired from GM and then used to sue Toyota to prevent them from making Rav4EVs.

The best idea is to give people a practical alternative to the internal combustion engine.

  • Hey Rick,

You're absolutely right about that. But since there are so many on the road, it's economically prohibitive for people to just go and get new stuff.

So, until we can, this thing - hydrogen hybrid kid - rocks AND takes the choice out of the major auto mfrs hands.

Interesting about the battery. I didn't know that.

  • As I see it, the only thing we really can do to fight these well-moneyed Goliaths is to do something to use less gas and take the money right out of their pockets.

You can't do it by stealing gas out of other customers' gas tanks but you CAN do it by making your car run on less gas (or none at all) and picking Exxon's pockets.
