My Warp randomly starts playing music. Help?

Knox, I love your postings & desire to inform others. Would you happen to know how to take "SCREENSHOTS", -without- rooting, on my SAMSUNG PREVAIL, OS System 2.3.6 (which was updated from 2.2 Froyo, in Nov-Dec, 2011)? For Websites, "NetQuin" developed "WEBSHOT", permitting shots, free. But, other than rooting & installing Dev software on my phone & computer (Mac OSX), I haven't found another way around this technical procedure! Any comments &/or suggestions? Thanx! Kripto

@lilkeat1 i miss my warp on a daily basis. The marquee is a good phone too ..just miss the warp for the screen size. IF you dont NEED a phone, I would wait til the next phone whenever that is. IF you want a phone right now, get the warp

I love movies and video games that's that the only reason I want more than 32GB! I like to have ready variety to please my mood that giving day! This phone is awesome but comes up short in some spots! But still an awesome phone for the price! Shame on you I-Phone no wonder more people are getting DROIDS! Lol

I absolutely love the ZTE WARP, its my first smartphone and now that I see what they can do I am so stoked! Laptops are a thing of the past with these phones! The ultimate all in one gadget! Just a few things I would like to point out though! I hope they make a WARP II, this is what they need to add to it!

1. 4G network service

2. 2 Stereo Speakers ( top and bottom )

3. Front face camera

4. Much faster processor (its cool now but I want more!)

5. More memory compatibility! 32gb is small! lol

I got this phone two days ago it's a really good phone the only thing is when I downloaded a new keyboard an started using it the phone froze on me

Major nag with the ZTE WARP and just wondering if this happens to others! If lets say you charging your phone and leave the WIFI on and it is not in use. Why does the screen always go black and the red led remains on and you cant turn back on the phone like it is locked up. I have to keep opening the phone to remove the battery and restart the phone! I learned this only happens when the Wifi is on and not in use. It doesnt occur at any other time.

@Bloved89 it does suck when using some applications, oddly with other applications its pretty loud. If I want to enjoy a movie I connect my Warp to a portable fold out speaker via the headphone jack! This way it rocks because the volume on the speakers make the phone sound much louder. Available at Radio Shack!

@knoxville363 alright, thanks for getting back to me. One more question...do you need to install a different battery to have the vibrate function? I have tried to 'silent' the phone and just have it vibrate, but no luck.

@stellas1964 that is one issue with the warp. Some people have stated the vibration feature just went out on them. There is no fix for that besides returning it

@waldirguerra33 the prevail is the WORST!!!! the prevail freezes alot for no reason and drops call alot!!! i have the prevail and its sucks with a capital S... lol im switch to get the zte warp. Getting the warp would be a better choice getting the prevail is a waste of money trust me :)

Personally I think the cheap monthly bills ballance out the minor side effects, for being boostmobile its perfect, and boost wont go 4g till metro gets theres fully functioning

This phone was good for most part when i had it. I just recently switched to the Transform Ultra and to me the transform is better..i do miss the 4.3 inch screen tho

Words of wisdom to people thinking about upgrading to the warp..the camera button WILL fall off..lol and you will be using the internal reset button ( located next to camera lens when u pop back off) alot since this phone freezes alot and sometimes you have to reboot phone just to install apps..

Thanks so much for this. I have the Samsung Prevail, I purchased it a few days after it was released. Didn't have any bad reviews about it what so ever, but now I deal with the force closed of apps, google, & ect; it gets rather annoying so I will be buying this ZTE Warp this week. This video was really informative even if you only had it for less then 24hrs. Thanks a lot again :)

Also i thought the evo would be better but zte warp is just as good but somewhat better due to the internal memry which is 2.5 GB! Yes GB also i added my 8GBcard giving me 10.5 GB of space!!! PREVAIL sucks... ForceClose, CHEAP INTERNAL MEMORY!

the crap was loaded with BLOATWARE, if you dont root the phone, its alot of mem eating up....another update to GINGERBREAD O/S and MORE BLOATWARE, but its fatory, unrooted phone. im around 16MB anything lower and i cant SYNC with gmail/facebook..anything, because im below 16mb, so i would clean out files,cache,in other programs to just barely make it enough to SYNC again..

DONT BUY PREVAIL!!!

People, remember that Android means that you can modify software system as you want, but the thing what you can not change and what you need to compare is hardware.

And if Android or Operator/Manufacturer launcher is slow or lags, you can always install a new launcher what is fluid and allows even more custom looks than what you buy.

Buying a smart phones is not about specific phone, it is about buying possibility to customize the phone for your purposes.

@MrRimrocker3 The Boost service is great. I've been with Boost since 2005, and I have to say that there has never really been any problems with service. It just makes better sense to not get into any contracts when these new Boost smartphones can do basically anything that the contract company smartphones can do. The coolest thing about boost is the shrinkage plan. Im not paying 40 dollars a month for smartphone and 3G service.

I just got this phone up and going last week Thursday and I am seeing some short comings but I am loving the phone overall! A great value, but you get the android service with out the android power! I am mainly speaking of the 3G network! Most apps on this phone require a 4G WiFi service and the camera is loaded with only 3G! Luckily for me I have a 4G Wireless modem that I connect the phone too to enjoy it and I can take the wireless router with me to use it wherever!
