lol, 8 hours. i got this game for christmas. i played it for a few hours, and i'm almost done. i wish people would stop exaggerating about the length of the single-player campaign. if you speed through it, you could complete it in less than 4 hours. i might beat it in 3 1/2.
however, online multiplayer is really where this game is at, and, in my experience, it's awesome. people take a while to die, but i actually kinda like that; i hate being killed in a few shots :)

Red Steel is probably one of the most overrated games ever, and definitely one of the worst shooters ever. it's horrible! the graphics are blah, the controls are stiff, the motion controls don't work well, the sword-fighting is extremely clumsy, the enemy AI is truly shameful, and there is no online multiplayer. i'm not sure how long single-player is, but it's length doesn't matter since the gameplay sucks.

i think you should get all 3 of them, but it depends on what kind of game you want. Wii sports resort makes great use of the wii's unique controller and is great fun with other people. Mario strikers charged football is great, but there are a lot of glitchers online. the conduit is a great fps, nothing revolutionary, but very enjoyable. Personally, i enjoy the conduit the most. (but i think you should get wii sports resort if you don't have a wi-fi connection)
well, problem is, my nintendo wi-fi connection is mostly lag free for all the online games I have, but I don't have xbox live. If I buy modern warfare 2, I'll just be playing the campaign, and sometimes split screen with my friends, but that's about it. And I like online gaming.
oh well that's a bit of predicament then. i would say the conduit would be the better choice then in that situation, since multiplayer is probably the biggest draw of MW2.

what a lot of you aren't realizing is not everyone wants to go out and spend the money for an xbox360, at the same time, they already have a wii, this is to bring games that people couldn't play, due to it being for xbox360, to wii.
Two of the best games the last 5 years have come out on the wii...Galaxy, and Twilight Princess... plus Mario Kart, which is my fav one based on the online play. Wii is here soley for the fun factor, and it does that great. Ps3 has no game on it that I find to be memoriable, or system purchase worthy.

Well if you have internet on your wii there are "downloadable content" and "voice chat on some games" AND the wii has some awesome games on it . (although I don't have the 360 I know it does have some pretty sweet games on it)

metroid prime= meh brawl= melee on gamecube with waggle okami= sold better on ps2 mario kart= double dash was better world of goo= better on pc tiger woods= play real golf ffs punch out= better on nes paper mario= i didnt like it zack and wiki= too childish for my taste little king story= never heard of it no more heroes= meh again you've failed to convince me why the wii should be taken seriously as a gaming machine
mario kart wii was rubbish, completely watered down so the retarded casual gamers could play. i really wouldn't mind the wii if it didnt convince grannies and soccer moms that games are for everyone, because they arent. and it kills me that the wii outsells the 360 and ps3, which are obviosly far superior. and wii will be remembered amongst gamers for nintendo selling out, convincing companies to release minigame compilations and forgetting about the people that got them where they are today.
Yet no one forces u to buy crap games. I've listed about 20-30 great games here already which all got good reviews.... Mario kart wasn't watered down. It has a high learning curve and you'll need a lot of skill to win from me online. Btw wii outsells ps3 and xbox360 combined. Nintendo doesn't support 3rd party devs who make minigames. They helped ubisoft with red steel 2, they got team Ninja to make a new metroid, etc

Wii will be remembered in history for good reasons, but ps3 will be remembered as the worst attempt at making profit in gaming industry. Xbox360 will only be remembered for rrod.
wii has that graphics if you haven't noticed yet, and High voltage preffered to do a game with good graphix and conserve their good framerate, instead of making the wii burst and making the game impossible to play, that's what happened with Shadow of the Colossus, I have it it has great graphix but the framerate is just unbearable.
so far the online's been my fav, although i do have to agree that sometimes the lag will get you, however its kinda funny watching the ppl zoom super fast across the screen. not to mention that you don't get the same feeling from a kill as you do on other fps's, it feels more. . . . . . . . . . satisfactory :^)
For this being a Wii game, being made by HVS, a company with so many suckish games it isn't funny, and with HVS having to pay for the whole production by themselves, I say they did an amazing job on this game. Kudos HVS.

There is no question that the 360 has beaten the wii ever since the release.
With killer games, hardware, and the community, addons, downloadable content, and Misc (Voice chat, Gamer pictures, Xbox Live partys)
If your talking about the price, with no harddrive the 360 still stays within the price range of the wii.
I have all 3 systems, PS3, Wii and 360 so I aint no microsoft humper but The wii just has no killer games right now/

mario kart wii was rubbish, completely watered down so the retarded casual gamers could play. i really wouldn't mind the wii if it didnt convince grannies and soccer moms that games are for everyone, because they arent. and it kills me that the wii outsells the 360 and ps3, which are obviosly far superior. and wii will be remembered amongst gamers for nintendo selling out, convincing companies to release minigame compilations and forgetting about the people that got them where they are today.

Yet no one forces u to buy crap games. I've listed about 20-30 great games here already which all got good reviews.... Mario kart wasn't watered down. It has a high learning curve and you'll need a lot of skill to win from me online. Btw wii outsells ps3 and xbox360 combined. Nintendo doesn't support 3rd party devs who make minigames. They helped ubisoft with red steel 2, they got team Ninja to make a new metroid, etc

Wii will be remembered in history for good reasons, but ps3 will be remembered as the worst attempt at making profit in gaming industry. Xbox360 will only be remembered for rrod.

wii has that graphics if you haven't noticed yet, and High voltage preffered to do a game with good graphix and conserve their good framerate, instead of making the wii burst and making the game impossible to play, that's what happened with Shadow of the Colossus, I have it it has great graphix but the framerate is just unbearable.

appart from that, COD 4 Halo and Killzone are games for consoles PS3 and Xbox 360, and wii cant compete with graphix right now.

so far the online's been my fav, although i do have to agree that sometimes the lag will get you, however its kinda funny watching the ppl zoom super fast across the screen. not to mention that you don't get the same feeling from a kill as you do on other fps's, it feels more. . . . . . . . . . satisfactory :^)

For this being a Wii game, being made by HVS, a company with so many suckish games it isn't funny, and with HVS having to pay for the whole production by themselves, I say they did an amazing job on this game. Kudos HVS.
