  • Paid $4,100 for mine with 516 miles and over $1500 of accessories jet kit, pipe ect..was a demo bike but hasn't givin me any problems it's the love of my life p's. Girlfriend gets really jealous of it lol

  • "can YOU spot the ninja 250r?"

..yeah.. It's the one without the sporty forward-lean, thin wheels, somewhat-aggressive look on the front.. :P

    I still love it though.

  • I am skipping it and shooting straight for the 650R.

  • anybody know where fuel contol? awesome bike, i have one

  • @evilv0dka easy. Hasn't got any....

  • good beginer bike and it's ofc kawasaki to so quality is at hand xD

  • sou mais a comet gtr e por isso optei por ela...Mas não deixa de ser uma bela moto.

  • wtf shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitttt is not a bike is a shame for the name of ninja zx6 e zx10...

  • the ninja 250's are only $3,500 im getting one really soon!

  • only 3,500 up here there 6,000

  • @nipkonx crazy thing is that it'll be worth $3000 2 years from now when you're ready for a 650R or ZX6. Dealerships love getting used Ninja 250's and will give you fair market value instead of ripping you off.

  • of course, it its smaller!

  • Could somone tell me if the 250r is smaller than the zx6r? And would I look like a giant on it if im 6 ft tall

  • i thought they were both 2metre long

  • its a bit smaller but to be honest there isnt much of a difference..im soon getting the 250r so i went to a dealer the other day to check them out and they had a 250 and a 650 a few feet away from each other.

i had been looking at the 650 for about 30 secs before i noticed it wasnt the 250 hahaha!!

oh and btw im 6 ft too

  • Thanks for letting me know because My local dealership didnt have any 250r's just bigger bikes.

  • to be more precise

the ninja zx-6r's seat height is 32.1 inches

ninja 650r is 30.9 inches and the ninja 250r is 30.5 inches so yeah

and no problem glad to help

  • @Supracharged66 Theres not much of a difference, I have a Ninja 250R and it looks great, when i went into the dealership and purchased the Ninja 250R the ZX-6R was sitting right beside it and you could hardly tell a difference in height / length at all.

  • @DJWildy except for the fact that its TINY. And the back tire is no bigger than the front! looks like a bicycle...

  • @cwhitti1 If you had read my previous comment clearly, you would have noticed that I said that "I went into the dealership and purchased the Ninja 250R and the ZX-6R was sitting right beside it and you could hardly tell a difference in height or length, other than the back tyre difference (which I might point out isn't as thin as you think) you might as well be saying that the ZX-6R is small too? Yet the ZX-6R is no smaller than any other 600 sportsbike around. Talk sense!

  • i payed 8k for mine. AU

  • how did you get that deal? most places i see sell them for 8.5

  • Well the price was 7500 but i got leather jacket, which state are you in?

  • New south wales

  • @hateterrorists Perth

  • how much does it cost?

  • about 4 grand

  • 4299-4799

  • nice bike, should of made one for a more sport feel with further handlebars, thicker tire and frame, just for riders who want the look of a zx6r or an R6.

  • I can spot it! Its the one thats left behind when the other 2 shift into 2nd gear! Ahaha, Its a great bike, for beginners...

  • perfect for anyone living in the city too. Right macho man?

  • this bike was decent when i rode it. It was fun and had good acceleration. 1st gear is kind of slow though... unless you take it to 12k rpms your shifting right away when turning in intersections

  • ok il y a quelque un qui parle francais la !!! :-/

  • Oui moi !

  • I'm getting mine this summer!!!!!

    Can't wait!

I'm going to start vlogging the day I get it!

  • I ll propably get one of those too.. Soon in my birthday.. 15 daya left -.-

  • LUCKY TO YOU xD!!!

  • I bought it.. 9.5k Km already ;D

  • I just got a custom 89 zx6 doesnt even look like an 89...but the first gear is so tricky and hard...i throtteld a little bit and I almost flew but i had breaks lol...should I keep it and learn or trade for 250?

  • how about u get ure lisence first :P?

  • gettin that tomm hopfluly lol :P

  • keep it

  • keep the zx6 man! looks awesome and much more power! keep trying!

  • it looks badass cant wait for mine

  • I am just learning to ride and I love this bike. It's all about the ride, the comfort and the feeling of freedom is what experienced serious riders have told me. As I progress, I will probably want more cc's but for now it's great - and if this biked sucked, there wouldn't be so many of them in the professional racing world. Totally glad I bought it.

  • Actually, I'm looking to get one of these, I've heard it's pretty much perfect for beginers in every aspect except tires, I heard the stock tires aren't that good and that I should change them as soon as I can, can you say if that's really true or not from what you've experienced?

  • CANT WAIT TO GET IT!

  • im sorry this bike just isnt all that..... its ok for new riders.... but if you want to go to the tracks, i recommend something a quite bit bigger

  • its designed as a learner bike

  • i like the size, but wish there was another one a little bigger. 4-500cc's or so.. i guess they just need to update the ex500 lol.

  • The 2008 models are really hard to come by nowadays. I rarely see them in the used classifieds in my area....

  • yeah its the Low one in the middle

  • lol wth u cnt even say that ... unless ur jelouse or sumit

  • Wow, your hardly spelt one word right.

  • good for you

  • Wouldn't you mean "good for me"

  • Can rain water get into the motor easy because of the way it's built?

  • no.

  • i m looking for work i want one black whit all optional kawasaki gives

  • This is not the best video about the 250R!

  • A fun little bike I want one but you don´t wanna feel like a beginner when youré not so I´ll think I will pass on that one a real shame though.

  • How come everything small cheap and fun Is automatically considered to be for beginners and very young people? In cubic fixated Sweden that´s the case and now I notice also In us

  • im get one of these just for the hell of it.. it looks sweet lol.

  • cool. I wounder if the YEAR PAY is cheep on these.

  • You can tell the dif. by looking at the rear tire. The 250s' smaller width.

  • how may times did they say percise handeling and agressive styleling lol i still hate myself for spending 2gs on a chinese sportbike.

  • a good beginner bike is the Zx 14 or the hayabusa....

    just kidding

  • man if you were actually serious.... you'd need to go to a mental hospital or something! i just watched a video of a hayabusa that maxed out at 400 km/h!!!! it was insane! it went so fast that the front end picked up.

  • @bigdperry85 ..z 1000 is nice too...i am not kidding:))

  • best way is to start small...im 17 125pounds and i rode a honda cbr 125r for 3 months now im riding a kawasaki ninja 650r.

  • How steep is the learning curve once you get on a 600cc or more, after riding say a 250cc for a while?

  • well it really depends on alot of things.. your weight, how u rode that 250 , speed, and especially how much balls u got. lol i fround it really easy switching from 125-650 all is basically the same ecxcept the 650 is heavier, faster and more agile, but it differs from person to person i suppose i already knew how a bigger bike felt cuz i learned to ride on my dads 800. but you will get used to the 650 way faster than u did the 250 because u already know the basics.. gl and drive safe :)

  • im 6'3 , will this bike suit me? which beginners bike is good for tall people?

  • they say(people with them) that ninja 250 is coll, but is you are a big person, your conduction can be a bit dificult, because of the driving position...but my advice is, you go to a kawasaki stand, and sit in one, and see... it is better for you ;)

btw, 250 is a excelent choice!

  • a 600

  • is it a small bike,

cos im 16, live in the UK, and have a 50, but its taller than most bikes its a peugeot xps

im 6ft and 11 stone, i want either this or the zxr 400

  • why dont u get a zx6 g model instead?

  • how much in brazil?

  • im 6' and weigh 110lbs. think its okay>?

  • im 5'8 and weigh 120

i think you should be atleast 120

  • wow, you must be skin and bone too...

    I'm 5'5 and I'm 120lbs. I got broad shoulders though.

  • yeah im pretty damn skinny.

  • lol! i'm 5'7", 150 lbs, and im a girl! you guys are waaay skinny!!

  • haha

  • 6 foot and only 110 lbs...damn. You'd think your anorexic or something....or missing a leg.

  • wow anirexic. im 5 7' and 135

  • u should be fine. im 6'3 180. i have no problems on my ex250 ninja

  • do theses pin lol\

  • anyone know the power of of this bike?

  • lol its called 250r because it's a 250cc bike

  • 24KW, and below our national limit of 0.16BHP/KG (I live in Holland) so that would make this my dream-starter bike.

  • lawl in 6' 4'' and ride one :P

  • i REALLY NEED ADVICE PEOPLE...ok im planning on buying this bike in the spring of 09...but! i am 5' 10" and 180 ibs. perfect size for a beginner bike...my bro on the other hand is 5'10" 250 ibs. do u think this bike would be ideal for the both of us? were both beginners only taken the motorcycle class offered where i live that teaches u the basics but other than that new to this. FEEDBACK would be awesome! appreiate it!!

  • the weight limit on this bike is about 330 lbs/ pounds so i belive it would be fine for both you and your bro.

  • I am 6'0 225 lbs. and its my first bike, i've had it about four months and it is a great learner bike and commuter i average about 55 mpg at 2500 miles the only downside is power but if i bought a bigger bike first i'm sure i would have had layed it down already. This ninja has really helped me learn to ride with keeping both wheels on the ground i highly recomend as long as you can afford to upgrade in a year or so i plan on getting an 04^ gsxr600 in dec. its a bike best in the turns!

  • Thanks!

  • hyosung does have a lot of power, i agree with that, but haven't rid a kx road bike/sports bike, just rid the dirt ones so couldn't compare them. My uncles got the hyosung 250 an 650 naked bike. Rids so smooth and is built of power.

  • ok well here it goes im 14 1/2 i race dirtbikes and wanna get a bike next year should i get this or go for something a bit bigger

  • hyosung gt250r is a nice beginer bike and a little cheaper than the kawasaki ninja,id take the ninja, better made, handles better, i rode both bikes it felt like the hyosung had more power.

  • im 6'4 and right under 200 pounds does anyone think i would be to big for this bike?

  • Hyosung's GT250R seems to be more comfortable for bigger people like yourself.

  • Ive heard that bike is built like crap. Its supposed to be a good bike, but its not durable and begins to break down after a year, things that the Ninja wont do, like body rusting.

and your best bet is probably to check out a dealer, that or maybe get the 500 to learn on instead, Its a bit bigger of a bike, not as sexy as the 250 though. Maybe even the 650 if the 500 dosn't work.

  • someone said in a different video comment, that he was 6'2" and fit it like a glove.

I say just go to a dealership and just sit on it and see for yourself.

  • only way u can tell is to sit on one.

  • I am also 6ft4ins and i owned an FZR250R for a good many years when i was starting out. it was a bit of a squeeze but what a fine handling bike. Fact is it looked tiny on me but hey - so does a 750 anyway. i am not so sure about the new Kwak 250 but it may not be so bad, just after a few years i guess you will be craving more power. However while owning my 250 i had gone round the outside of 748's and used to keep up in the twisties with the bigger bikes fine Back in the day. what about 400cc?

  • But i am not so sure i like the look of this so much to be honest. best bet is check one out and take it for a test ride as always

  • is 5'6 120 pounds good enough for this bike? im more concerned about the weight of both the bike and myself.

  • im 17, 5-11 and 195, so should i get this bike? i plan on lifting weights more and getting up 2 220 in the next couple of years so i think this would be a good begginner bike and in a couple of years i will upgrade 2 a 5 or 600.

  • ur plenty big for a 500r right now im 155 lbs and its a nice fit for me and im 5-11 also.

id say if u've had any experience with bikes/dirtbikes ud be fine with a 600 but 600s are meant for the track so respect the throttle response.

  • i kno im big enough but this will be my first bike. so i was wonderin if i should learn 2 control and ride with a smaller bike or just head 2 a 500 like you said.

  • If this is your first bike then you shouldn't buy one more than 250cc. My opinion of course. A 500 might be too powerful for you.

  • im like 5" 5' ... would i be too short ?

  • "At 5-foot-1, the new 30.5-inch seat height had me on my tippy-toes, but the bike is so light (reported 333 lbs. dry, up nearly 30 lbs) this was hardly a concern. The narrow seat certainly helps those of us who belong to the inseam-challenged group or the new rider who feels most comfortable with both feet down." - Review from Motorcycle (dot) com.

  • nah ive seen comments from 5''2' kids saying they love this bike

  • ya im 5'2 and i can sit on 1~!

  • you have one of these ? can u touch both feet on the ground or just one ?

  • nah i went to the dealership and sat on 1!

  • thats whats up ima get one of these in like may hopefully if i got the bread lol

  • gud luck man ride saftly im begging my parents for 1 because their rich lol and im poor! =)

  • lol im poor as well i gotta save for 8 months if i wanna get it its gonna be hard i need all the luck i can get thanks and good luck to you

  • hi all, dont know much about bikes, im going for my exam soon cant wait, the thing is im 6'4 245lbs and wanted to know if im to tall for this bike, any bike acually, what would be a good started for a tall mofo?

  • yea sadly yes this is a great beginner bike but im 6'0 175 and it felt ....mmhhee...u should prob look into a 500 maybe 600 if u dont like the look of 500 but be careful 250 to 600 is a huge diff and u will prob get really hurt

  • I've had a 2006 ninja 250 for 2 weeks now. I'm bored with the power, but I'm also 200lbs and 6'1". As far as cornering and clutch control... best bike I've ever ridden. I highly recommend it. Use it for 2-3 months, then move on to the big boys.

  • I was thinking...The benefits of owning this bike are greater than the benefits of owning a 600 or 1000. It's not that I don't like bigger bikes, and yes I do plan own owning one someday, but I'm pretty pleased with my 2008 250. Bigger Bikes are nice, im not bashing them, lets get the cleared up. If anyone has any input please comment.

  • can you spot the ninja 250r?

hell yeah, it doesnt look a bit like the zx6r / 9r

  • good point lol

  • The other is a zx10r. They haven't made a 9r in 5 years.

  • im selling my 08 250r i live in michigan if anyone is interested let me know mail me add my on myspace the bike has under 1000 miles on it right now and looking to sell it fast make offer

  • I drive a ninja zx 1000 cc but I started on the Ninja 250 a year 2003. The new Ninja 250 is a totally new bike, everything on it is better. Excellent bike for the moola! Click on my name for helmet cam vids guys..I ride a ninja also.

  • U CANT FIND HARDLY 1 VIDEO OF A 250 RACING!!! which makes me think their acceleration is worse than a car

  • no the acceleration is not worse than a car they dont have a high top speed but they get up and go pretty good

  • The acceleration of the Ninja 250r is not bad at all. 0-100km/hr in 5.75sec and 170km/hr top speed!! That was for the old model. I hope the new one is even better. Keep up the good work KAWASAKI.

  • 0-60 in about 5 sec,and 1/4 mile in 14 sec.. .So about as fast as a new Mustang.. So NO its not slow.. just not as fast as some. Plus it only weighs 330 lbs, so in the twisties it will often EAT the bigger bikes.

  • Будет моим

  • i guess the number one selling bike for kawasaki makes everyone who bought one a fag... stupid people shouldn't be aloud to comment on things. go kill yourself

  • LMFAO

  • This is probably the best looking beginner bike out there.

  • serpant dicks impress! maybe get some surgery instead of a bike?

  • Maybe get a life instead of spending you time Replying to 13 year old's comments, You arragent Dick

  • Ohhhh, Haha! Sorry I couldn't understand what your where trying to say, so I just assuemed You were taking the piss out of me :/ my bad, Oh and no need for sugery ;)

  • i want one so bad but live in miami andits about to be summer ( it rains every other day) i guess i could wait a few months

  • Has anyone ever consider the Jardine RT5 or FMF Apex Ti/Ti exhausts? How would they compare?

  • only a couple of dealers in my area (central Illinois) are willing to let these go for a small profit. $3650 was best price i was quoted, but unable to get one for me. couple dealers at $3850 and im waiting for a blue one from one of these. my local dealer (Bloomington)has a blue one but i'm not going to give him 4200. i can wait for awhile. place in peoria wants 4300 and isnt dealing. i understand they want all the profit they can get BUT these two places will never see me again!

  • Bear in mind that the price difference between the euro/US versions is because the euro versions are fuel injected, and the US versions are carburated. US version is retailing for around $3499+

  • HI, HOW MUCH DO THSES COST?

  • 3500$ in the USA. Here in Germany they cost 4400€ what is about 7000$. Double Price. Damn bitches.

  • i thinks thats cause the Euro model is fuel injected to meet Euro requirments, but the yank model is carbueretter

  • I just saw a Lime green one yesterday. Man that thing looks awesome!

  • Nice video, would anyone recomend this bike? I am thinking about getting one but i am not sure if i would want this kind, or a bigger one.

  • bet u cant afford 1 dip shit da only reason ud be checking a video on 250r is u plan on buying 1 or u gt 1 so pleez no talking big

  • For a beginner get a used 250 they are cheap now. Don't pay more than $2000 unless it has less than 1000 miles on it though. I picked one up with 4300 miles for $1300! Average buy would be $1900 for one. The new ones are nice but don't have a temp gauge anymore and repairs on the fairing are ungodly expensive since they are new. Get a year in or at least 1000 miles with a used 250 and decide whether you want a new one or a bigger bike.

  • Oh ok, thanks for the help.

  • what is the maximum size of tire we could put on the 08 250r? I'm talking about the rear tire.

  • how the fuel efficiency on the bike? how much to fill up and how fast do you use it up?

  • It's about 65-70mpg I think. I don't know the size of the tank.

  • The fuel efficiency can range from 55-70 mpg, depending on your most frequented RPMs. The bike uses 93+ octane, which is the premiuim fuel. The tank holds 4.8 gallons, so a fill up will probably cost around 16-18 dollars, depending on the price of gas in your area.

  • oh ok cool...can you get 93+ octane at most gas stations? How many miles can you travel on a full tank? thanks for the info!

  • the bike doesn't use "93+ octane" lol I have had one for years your can put the lower grade in which is 87 I get in the 60s gas mileage city riding you have to really keep your speed down around 65mph in thehighway to get over 70mpg but it's possible. Most gas stations have 87, 89 and 93 octane gas. Some have 92 instead of 93, and some have 94 in addition to 93. Just run the cheapest stuff because the bike runs the same and gets the same gas mileage either way.

  • GET MINE TOMORROW, YES!!

  • In the U.K these bikes are 3000 pounds which is about 6000 dollars! takes the piss! i really want one of these bikes!

  • here in québec, canada this bike is about 4200 $... Just bought mine =D

  • youre better off getting it in the u.s since the dollar is worthless now... $1cad is about $1.10 u.s.

  • Getting one next week monday!!!

  • how much is it ?

  • about $4000

  • i finally got to sit on a 2008! Its awesome! I love it.

My 2006 is still running strong, and maintaining it is super cheap. I made a video of how to change the oil in my profile. So if you have one, change the oil yourself and save some cash.

    enjoy

  • at greece its priced for about 3990euro, so nice, i am getting mine soon :)

  • The motorcycle shop near my area is having a sale on these it's $3,000.00 (U.S.) flat out the door, I'll be picking one up next month.

  • holy crap that's a good deal, go buy it, buy two and make some money lol

  • Is that every dealership in the U.S or just yours?

  • not sure, but a local shop in my area is selling them for $2800, plus all the misc fees [TTL, etc], so it may be a little more than 3k OTD.

  • I need one
