Well, knowing that Randi performs magic for animals makes me feel better. One of my ferrets picked up a plastic doohickey, which I took away from him, and he wanted back naturally. I "french-dropped" it, making it appear that I took it in my right hand from my left, but it stayed in my left. My tube-rat looked at my right hand when I opened it, back to my left, back to my right, then at my face before he hopped away to find something else.
