  • I did not realize other people were interested in vacuum cleaners. My mum bought the grey model when I was a little girl and kept it immaculate which was a later model. You mention suction was not great using the tools with the pink 652 but ours was quite good. She had it for years I would not mind having one today, they were so well made, unlike my modern nameless cleaner that tips over when using the attachments.

  • nice vid!....wow im the first one to comment in a year!

  • how much does it look similar to the 65?

  • Beautiful machine, and so quiet too. It's a shame the tool set doesn't afford the type of suction you'd think it would be capable of. Great colour, easy on the eyes.

  • we had a 1975 hoover convertable that had a vinyl bag like that. were they still made from the same material at that time? ours seemed pretty sturdy though.

  • We have one of these and I didn't know there was a place for a hose to go into.

Where can a find a hose for it?

  • They do come up on ebay, but are unavailable new. I wouldn't bother to be honest, tool suction is pretty mediocre with these!

  • Did you work for them too?

  • I love hoover convertibles

  • I look a bit like Tim Hunkin too...

  • you even sound like hunkin

  • I just love the sound of those old Hoovers, so much nicer than the Dyson of today, and I bet they clean carpets a damn sight better! Excellent vid. Luck forward to seeing more.
