Alex, you are totally right. I should've said "here in my apt". At the time my apt was all I knew of Ukraine (these videos of my apt were taken on the first few weeks of my arrival). The apt was given to me by my employer. It was part of the faculty residence and I paid nothing for it. I had friends who had similar apts as mine, and I also had friends who had more North American style apts too. Don't be fooled though, living conditions even in the nicer apts were still not like NA.
