nice i bought my friend a line6 bass amp like that for his birth day I'm a guitar player and play with line6 and line 6 pod xt live....that thing kicks ass.
I used to use 200 pounds worth of HIWATTS now when I go to NYC for a gig I walk in with my PODXT LIVE and hand the sound man a 1/4" cable. My back thanks me and everybody comments on my tone. It's amazing. I just had to believe my ears. I use line 6 exclusively now. All my videos are Line 6. I even sing through it!
FAITHHOUSE - Thanks for stopping by and commenting! I appreciate it! I'd have to agree. I too have a Line 6 Bass Pod XT Live and it sounds incredible when I link the two together. However, I can't do that as of now because I let my friend borrow my Fender 150 and a 1/4 in. because he didnt have any output. He plays a standup for crying out loud ya know. So since I only have one cable now, I plug directly into the amp, but the built-in effects are plenty to keep me content. Peace!
I love your playing style, particularly on Buckethead. That's where I first saw your vids. How is the headroom, volume and bottom end on that amp? I have got lots of Line 6 gear and it is simply amazing. I have not had a chance to try one of those. thanks for posting it.
Overall, great! I don't have any complaints with this amp. I haven't even got the chance to play at it's full potential - got neighbors and I'm sure my mother wouldn't appreciate it. On the onboard controls permit a wide variety of manipulation and it's freak'n loud! It literally shakes the house!

Extravagant - when I had the possibility. I let my buddy borrow my Fender 150 amp, and since he didn't have a 1/4 cable as well, I let him borrow my monster jazz cable too (I couldn't believe I let him borrow that cable - he didn't even ask, I just let him). I don't even miss it! Dude, the amp has built in modules and effects that the pedal has - not all of them of course, that'll be fuck'n sick - but since I'm break'n in the amp, I figured I don't 'really' need the pedal as of now.
Thanks man! Actually, I'm just trying to take some of your advice! You encourage me to go for the high strings and not just use them as percussive tools. 'Just reverse it.' I'm doing that a little, but I'm still trying to incorporate it into my actual playing. Everyone has their opinion and I respect it, but who was the bastard that gave me one star? I bet it was someone who just doesn't like my opinion on certain issues. Dude, that amp is freak'n badass!
u lose man. LINE 6 BLOWS!!! trust me u will know the truth and hate them eventually. not gonna lie i like line 6 for a while too. they suck!!!
