  • Love this one.. Nothing is going to change until we do something.. What's so hard to understand?

  • Even if Global Warming was a scam, how does it promote ABORTIONS?!?!?!

  • @TigerPride2014 Watch our video "Global Warming Unmasked". In brief, however, the desire to reduce the carbon footprint leads to the desire to reduce the population - via abortion and other methods of population control.

  • Can anyone say xenophobea

  • @ThatSkeleton Not only that, but I can spell it correctly too. In any case, xenophobia is fear or hatred of different races and ethnic & national groups - which isn't even vaguely related to this video. If you wanted to expand it to mean generally "strange" or "different", then there is no fear but there is legitimate hatred of that which is worthy of hatred - namely, things which are against Christianity. NOT hatred of persons, but hatred of sins and sinful ideas. These should be hated.

  • The Church doesn't change for man, man changes because of the Church. Parishioners ought not tell the priest what his homily ought to be about, nor ought any political figure preach to the Church what the homilies ought be about. They come by Scripture, sacred Tradition,Prayer, meditation and the Magisterium.

  • @UnbelieveablyBored So, they should ban this show for being judgmental? See, it is obviously hypocritical and ludicrous comments like that which make your trolldom so obvious.

  • Well it didn't happen in my parish. I don't know if it happened elsewhere though? Were Catholics Churches the only ones targeted to preach Earth day do you know? Or were protestant ones included as well?

  • @Eltsacwenify Based on the FAX we saw, a large number of Christian communities (including non-Catholic) were targeted.

  • One thing out of all of that message that bothered me....it said at the end...to help the Catholic church spread the truth about God aand Jesus Christ....and that the Catholic Church is the only way and God is Love! We'll I thought God is "Love" in all other religions?? If God is "love' in all religions then why are each religion seperate?? It shouldn't be if God is love....each religion preaches the same word...I thought....God is Love! To me it seems as religion are keeping us seperate!

  • @MrWhatsgoingon2day Each religion does NOT preach the same word, though. Only the Catholic Church teaches the full truth of God. Religions teach different things, so how can they all be true? Other religions have a different (and incorrect) definition of what love is.

  • Amen

  • easter is a pagan holiday thats all it is. and its the worship of a false egyptian god who goes by the name of "ishtar" do the research

  • @snakeyuk What a stupid comment - seriously. How is Easter, as celebrated today, pagan and the worship of Ishtar? There are no references to snakes, Egyptian gods, or anything pagan in the celebration. It is exclusively a Christian festival where the death and resurrection of Christ is referenced. Just because something is CALLED something doesn't mean it is identical to something else with the same name. Sundays are no longer sacred to the Sun, but the name remains.

  • @RealCatholicTV "Conspiracy theologists" would state that the Catholic Church is actually tricking individuals into practicing pagan rituals with only a veneer of Christianity. A similar accusation is made against the pope, claiming that the Catholic church is secretly tricking individuals into worshiping the pope and so forth. This is what "conspiracy theologists" believe and why they view Catholicism as pagan. Jack Chick is one of the leading proponents of this view.

  • @Mechanized0 And such people are morons. Everything the Church teaches is explicity Christ-oriented.

  • @RealCatholicTV My response was not published for reasons that evade me. If it was viewed as offensive I assure you that no malevolent intentions were intended.

As for such 'morons' they simply appear to be completely weeded to what one might term 'conspiracy theology.' Oddly, this appears to have become a religion within a religion given the fanaticism of its proponents. Why individuals become so wedded to such intellectual errors is puzzling.

  • @snakeyuk This sort of comment has been made several times, and this is the LAST time I am dealing with it. What is DONE at Easter, what Easter IS today, is exclusively Christian. Yes, the celebration takes place at the same time of the year and shares a name with earlier, pagan rites - but the actual event itself is RADICALLY different, as anyone who has spent even a moment looking at Christianity knows. Easter celebrates a HISTORICAL event, not a "once upon a time" event as the pagans do.

  • @snakeyuk To my knowledge it is only called "Easter" in English-- Latin based languages use a version of "Paschal" instead.

  • @Chess83 The word "Pascha" is the ancient Greek word for "Passover" and is used universally as the name of the feast that celebrates Christ's resurrection (Easter). Might I suggest, instead of wishing someone "Happy Easter" you greet people with the ancient Paschal greeting of "Christ is Risen!" -- which is usually answered with "Indeed He Is Risen!". This is how it was done in the early Church, even before the English language existed.

  • @snakeyuk Ah, research! The idea that the name Easter originated in paganism was derived from Bede's assumption in De temporum ratione on the origin of the name of the month now called April: “Eostur-monath has a name which is now translated Paschal month, [...] once called after a goddess of theirs named Eostre, in whose honour feasts were celebrated in that month.” There is no other evidence of such goddess: even Jacob Grimm’s detailed examination (Deutsche mythologie, 1855) was inconclusive.

  • @snakeyuk More research: The idea of linking Christianity to paganism has been persistently propagated after James George Frazer’s “Golden Bough” (1890), which work has been widely criticized, famously so by Ludwig Wittgenstein in his “Remarks on Frazer’s Golden Bough” (mind you, Frazer was a proponent of social Darwinism, so to him religion was only a cultural phenomenon to be replaced by science)

  • I remember attending a mass at a popular shrine in my area years ago and the priest in his homily implied that John 3:16 that refers to "God so loving the WORLD that he gave his only Son means not only souls, but the environment. God did NOT become incarnate, suffer and die a most humiliating, and painful death to save trees! I no longer will attend mass there.

  • @Christiscatholic33ad How did said Priest manage to reach such an erroneous conclusion?

  • Everything to distract us from what is really important.

The Resurrection of OurLord is, the triumph of Our Lord Jesus Christ over death, is what gives us hope for eternal life incidentally by paganizing the Faith the liberals in our world want us to renounce to the gift of eternal life and choose death.

May Our Blessed Mother interceded for us so we are not led astray anymore!

  • Why not go the whole hog and talk about how "Easter" is a Pagan holiday named after some earth goddess Oester and campaign for using the more orthodox term, "Resurrection Sunday," and do away with the Pagan reference altogether?

  • @forgetfulmuse Because we'd have to rename "SUNday" as well :) The NAME of a thing doesn't matter. I note that your YouTube name is based on a minor pagan goddess (who might have drunk from Lethe) but I am sure you didn't mean that. Rather, you meant "muse" in the sense of "someone who inspires", in the same way Easter refers to the celebration of the Resurrection. The meaning of words changes, independent of their origin.

  • @RealCatholicTV Fair enough. Just a thought. (And yes, you are right about my username, although I did pick it a long time ago while I was still more or less an atheist. Also see Shakespeare's Sonnet 100.) ;)

  • @RealCatholicTV We would also have to rename all the months of the year. Way too much work.

  • This video is real popular in Corpus Christi, people are emailing it all over the place. I didn't know how many people watched you here. I never heard of you before. If you're telling people to leave their parish after E- Day you at least need to tell them where they can go and be safe. Put a link up to the FSSP directory or something. My Community (not a parish yet) isn't FSSP but FSSP is basically all right.

I just want to add I support recycling, not from the pulpit on Easter, just overall

  • @acuriousbeast FSSP is really very good - people should Google them and go there.

  • @RealCatholicTV I don't think most Catholics are aware of them. A lot of them confuse it with FSPX. I was at a Traditional parish, they actually have a Latin Novus Ordo, and a lady asked me what parish I belonged to. I told her St. Michael's and she said 'oh you go to the Lefebre Church'. Actually we're part of the Diocese but hardly anyone knows that. I wanted to add I'm off today and I comment a lot. You're my project today. After the markets close I'll be on to that.

  • @RealCatholicTV What about the FSSPX?

  • @SkellingtonKing1 The SSPX (as they are usually known) have (according to the pope) no legimate authority to exercise ministry. That means, going to Mass at their chapels is illicit (and causes the priest to sin) unless there is a GRAVE emergency (e.g. there is nowhere else to go and you would miss obligation otherwise).

  • @RealCatholicTV Even if the pope nullified their excommunication.

  • @SkellingtonKing1 Yes. I said nothing about excommunication. I said they do not have authority to exercise ministry. From Benedict XVI's motu proprio Ecclesiae Unitatem, issued July 2, 2009: "the doctrinal questions obviously remain and until they are clarified the Society [of Saint Pius X] has no canonical status in the Church and its ministers cannot legitimately exercise any ministry." That document specifically mentions the lifting of the excommunications, too.

  • @SkellingtonKing1 The document specifically says the excommunications were lifted "to remove an impediment that might have jeopardized the opening of a door to dialogue and thereby to invite the Bishops and the "Society of St Pius X" to rediscover the path to full communion with the Church."

  • Do not leave you parish, fight for it. Talk to your priest, about what was said. Talk to other parishioners about what they think/feel about what is going on. Is this a one time instance in a normally orthodox parish or is it part of a greater pattern of liturgical abuses? Volunteer to catechize adults and children in your parish. Pray. Go to adoration. Campaign to get regular adoration started at your parish (You'd be surprised how effective that is at turning things around).

  • I'm in Sydney Australia and I would like to know if this is an Australian problem aswell..I truly respect michael voris and his cause and often share his shows to my friends..we have our crusader cardinal george pell fighting for our social justice here and I haven't heard anything just as yet..micheal also will you be speaking here in Australia anytime soon..pax

  • How about Development and Peace project by Canadian Catholic Org. they replaced the Station of the Cross meditation with examples of what they are doing. Instead of reflecting on the sacracrifce of Jesus, it was 90% about them. I would like to know your opinion on this.

  • @pepper72375 If that is what they are doing, then it is very bad and shouldn't be done. It sounds a lot like some of the stories surrounding the CCHD stations of the Cross.

  • @pepper72375 replacing time dedicated to the cross with anything is seriously wrong. Surely you can see that?

  • Hey there. I am a long time viewer, but I am confused on this. Are you seriously suggesting people leave the Church? If not, can you please make a video explaining what your last suggestion means in detail?

I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt and figure that you were advising people to go to more faithful parishes and not telling them to end up like angry SSPXers and the like.

  • @peruvianhitman >> Are you seriously suggesting people leave the Church?

Of course not - and nothing in the video suggests that at all. It says to leave the PARISH - that is, if there is a parish which is preaching heresy and falsehood and quasi-pagan garbage, get out for the sake of your soul! That is your first duty - to save your soul and give yourself the best chance to get to Heaven. No-one batted an eyelid when we said "stop giving to the CCHD because it supports abortion"!

  • @peruvianhitman How is this suggestion different? We never say "leave the Church" and anyone who thinks we did is lacking in reading comprehension, and anyone who says we did has to be suspected as having an agenda to attack us irrespective of the truth. We simply tell people to go to a parish where they will get real Catholicism, rather than something terrible and false. Go where the truth is proclaimed boldly.

  • @peruvianhitman For the people who have a problem with this idea; why do you come to our channel, rather than some liberal channel where people spout wishy-washy nothing "Katholicism"? Because you want the truth - and you make the choice to get it. And that is the same with a parish - go where the priests are preaching the truth and feeding you spiritually. Certainly, NEVER leave the Church or go to a splinter group - but go where the truth is proclaimed. There are lots of such parishes

  • @RealCatholicTV Mr. Voris, you sure have upset the Catholic blogosphere with this one. Lisa Graas and Mark Shea are pretty upset. Any response?

  • @jantoniello Nope.

  • @jantoniello Honestly, they are smoke and mirrors. I was suspicious of their argument when I saw this video, given all that Mr Voris has done before. It is obvious that they are misreading the whole thing. Sometimes, being in a rotten parish will damage your soul because you will not be receiving the fullness of the faith. It is better to go somewhere where you will be nourished instead of poisoned, IMHO

  • I have to agree with Michael Voris to a certain extent. What another poster said in that one should fight to make things better in one´s parish and if after you´ve fought the good fight things remain the same then one should look for another parish where you will find the spiritual nourishment for your soul that you need.

  • I love this youtube channel!

  • We must focus on the spiritual not the carnal, the creator not the created, the eternal not the temporal, the soul not the body.

  • Just noticed the fax is dated April 1st. So I presume, if I may, that it was intended for fools!

  • @fearmac That sure fits. "For thinking themselves wise, they became fools." Truth.

  • If our priest did that I would confront him and STAY to make sure it does not happen again. do not forget that parishoners are very dedicated to their parishes and churches. it becomes a family and you FIGHT for your family no matter what! if the priest did not stop I would voice my opinion loudly and they would have to KICK ME OUT! disgusting, but this is all prophecy too--so how angry can we get?! The bishops will go against the bishops...etc.etc. we are in the end times. PRAY

  • I live in London, England and to be honest we have nothing of this non sense. I attend the Ordinary form of the Mass and it's very much centered on the Catholic faith. I think the difference between here and the USA is you have far more money to promote 'save the planet' ideas. All one can do as Michael says is to attend a parish where the Catholic faith is taught in all it's purity. It's like going to a pub that don't serve beer, one tends fraternize a different pub.

  • Easter not "earth day". We worship the Creator not the created.

  • Surely Catholic priests are not bound to obey this directive since it does not come from the chancery or any other Catholic authority.

  • @53helene No, of course not.

  • Amen. May the abuse at our church stop. from A PROUD CATHOLIC.

  • So, let me get this straight...you're mad because people are interested in taking care of the planet they live on, while you want to celebrate a day for Jesus, and apparently you are blissfully unaware that Easter is not really about Jesus, but rather a Catholic takeover of the ancient Pagan holiday Ostara. Or do you really think eggs & bunnies have something to do with Jesus? Try they are Pagan fertility symbols! Do you live in a bubble?

  • @MrHorus2012 No, I am angry because people are hijacking the primary festival of Christianity for a pagan (earth worship) celebration. And Easter as celebrated by Christians has nothing to do with bunnies or eggs; it has everything to do with the HISTORICAL (not mythological) resurrection of a REAL person who was God from the dead. Not a pagan story that took place once upon a time, but a real, historical event. So, enough with the "Easter is pagan". It's not. It is Christian.

  • @MrHorus2012: I do volunteer civil service at a Forest Preserve, usually on Saturday or Sunday afternoons AFTER mass. Not during mass, not instead of going to mass, and not on church property. Catholics don't worship bunnies and eggs like pagans. However, Christians over the centuries have co-opted many pagan customs and turned them into fun festivities associated with religious holidays. More power to them! Get it now?

  • @MrHorus2012 You say "...let me get this straight...you're mad because people are interested in taking care of the planet they live on..."

We have a duty to take care of the planet we live on.

We have a FAR GREATER duty to take care of our immortal souls.

We have a FAR GREATER duty to worship God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength.

We HAVE to firstly love God, secondly love our neighbour, and thirdly love ourselves. Taking care of the planet has fit into this context.

  • These people might have done the Church a favour. Their circular may get even some 'progressive' priests to think more seriously about what God gives us the Church and priests for. If any do start preaching about park cleaning, then hopefully the congregation will 'get the message'. The idea of Leonardo di Caprio and Barbra Streisand advising priests on the contents of homilies is bizarre and sickening.

  • Unbelievable! These radicals never stop...

  • Philippe Cousteau Jr.'s presence on the board could suggest also an European problem . Only God knows how many parishes in the UK, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Spain received these "friendly suggestions" for Easter/ Divine Mercy Sunday. The unimaginable graces God wants to offer us poor sinners in this period must not be hindered: start your Divine Mercy Novena on the Good Friday and spread the warning to friends, priests and bishops. Even Rome could take an official position!:)

  • Are these activists sending liturature to Jewish temples as well ... the 22nd also falls within Passover which is starting on the evening of the 18th? It is not a bad thing for them to try to promote awareness of being more environmentally responsible ... but since this being a high holy week this week ... Earth day stuff can wait. I can say that I am not focusing on that. [I try to do my part all year long as far as that in my home.]

  • We should bring these issues up to the authorities. Also if one has a good relationship with the priest let him know with a good heart. We as lay people should try to help our parish as best as we can if one knows the faith.

  • anyone who has not seen rctv's global warming special ought to. its a long view, but it will surprise you, it will shock you, but most importantly, it will educate you. something as "secular" and "unrelated" to the church as global warming is actually a much more sinister and serious topic than most people realize. it's a long watch but you will be rivited the whole time. it makes this vortex not only make more sense, but be much the more surprising/disgusting.

  • Yes, so-called Global Warming is being used to promote contraception, birth control, abortion, etc. But, let's not forget it is also a scam to enrich companies like GE and to get a trade operation going in carbon credits. At least the air is free, right? it may not be for long. We are also witnessing a Facist takeover between Big Business and the State with a little Socialism to pay off the poor. And sadly, the Church seems to be playing along with the game.

  • Thank you so much for your videos!

  • Wait, half the celebrities urging Catholic priests to do this were not even born Catholic! What is it to them if priests do this or not? (And as for the ones born Catholic, they are certainly not anymore).

  • @ligreekguy Right. They are treating the pastors as "useful idiots".

  • What unmitigated gall these pagans have. Ted Turner? The one who said "Christianity is a religion for losers." ?? Sure he worships the earth, he owns a lot of it.

  • I'd better not hear about this at Easter mass! Bad enough I had to hear about the greatness of communism/socialism at a nearby parish recently (not our parish thankfully).

  • @mommybear4mybabies: If I had heard that at my parish I would have certainly got up and walked out. I most likely would write a letter of complaint too. Greatness of communism? You have got to be kidding.

  • @magie19475

I almost did walk out! But it was Sunday night 7pm mass - no more chances to go to mass that day. I wasn't even sure I should go to communion but I did because we are all sinners... But I immediately left after communion and shook the dust of that church off my feet!

  • Please please give us back the Latin mass with its beauty and sanctity.

  • Mr. Voris, we need you to host a show here in California. I heard you have a show in New York... how can the Roman Catholic faithful benefit from the graces of your gospel here in the West coast. Please continue your efforts and may our Pope continue to extend his blessings to you.

  • @lloydbaltazar Go to our website - doesn't matter which state or even country you are in.

  • Makes me grateful for the Latin Mass!

  • Surely even the word "Easter" is an initially Pagan term?

  • @jbosco08 Yes, but the celebration of the resurrection of the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity is NOT pagan. All of the names of the days of the week are pagan in orgin, and our numbers are Arabic. The NAME of a thing is not the important issue, but what it is.

  • @RealCatholicTV Well if the important issue is "what it is", then it still isn't pagan. That by definition would require a religious motives and intent. Really, whatever disagreements with those on responsible for Earth Day, the labeling of them as pagan is incorrect.

  • @gellymatos Not when the Green movement specifically talks about "Mother Earth" and other pagan claptrap . . . seriously, check out the CIA episode we did on this. It's all very clearly spelled out.

  • Awesome! Thank you for posting this enlightening message! YOU are a TRUE defender of the faith! I hope the Holy Father sees your efforts and help you rebuke the enemies of the Church! Thanks Michael Voris!

  • Do the other celebrities listed share Ted Turner's support for compulsory de-population?

  • Perhaps standing up and leaving directly following a heretical homily would be a more effective statement on Easter Sunday.

  • @GriffinElliot And then we don't get to receive Jesus Christ . . . :(

  • @RealCatholicTV For persons in rural or non Catholic areas, that might be a real problem. . .here, this is not the case, Praise GOD! Quite frankly, after hearing such a homily, receiving the Body, Blood, Soul & Divinity of Our Lord would not be possible as I would not be properly disposed. Perhaps the majority of your viewership are saints. I am not--it's a daily struggle. To all: spend some time checking out neighboring parishes, always keep your ears open for faithful priests. Pray for them!

  • Comment removed

  • @yankeesuperstar If we are going to Mass, we should stay for the full thing - the Mass is NOT a place for us to protest! That is what we complain about the liberals and homosexuals doing when they make a scene. The Mass is where we receive God and worship Him.

  • @auzziesoceroo Actually, he did just that. The show "Catholic Investigative Agency" did show how global warming is a hoax perpetrated by many who seek to klll people.

  • It is consistent. Making "Mother Earth" the new goddess of Easter is just what the pagans and all false prophets want.

  • The Church has been infiltrated. God help us!

  • @venini949 Nahh, the church hasn´t been infiltrated. There is just (as always) a big bunch of spoiled apples that need to be replanted or thrown down from the tree by our lovely gardener Jesuschrist. He is shaking the tree now, we just have to be firm and continue working and teaching the real faith.
