At the University of Washington, they have THREE SEPARATE LIBRARIES each with at least 2 floors, one has 5. They have so many bookshelves that they move from side to side so you can get to every single fucking book. IT DRIVES ME INSANE TRYING TO FIND ANYTHING!!!!

EXACTLY how I feel about my school library. All spooky, feels like at any time you could walk down an aisle and find a dead baby or something terrifying. Like that first scene in Ghostbusters. I usually start my library day searching for the book's code .The first few numbers(and alphabet) tells you which shelf it's at and just get cracking .If it's not on the shelf it's usually on the sorting shelf or those little carts .

I had the same experience at my school, I had to use the library for a history project and if it weren't for my room mate I don't think I would have been able to navigate the stacks. People totally have sex in our stacks, which is kind of gross just because who knows whats been touching your books.

yea. and i even know the dewey decimal system and everything. i just cant seem to find it. like in our public library there are like 5 stories and each one of them has some specific title. so i go to the one that makes the most sense. and i get told to go to another floor. then finally i get to the right floor. and i look for like ever. and i still cant find it. so then the librarian gets frustrated with my ignorance and walks straight to it, and hands it to me. i get so mad. :P
