@tozinim It's been illegal for a long time to smuggle and sell birds in the US. I have this exact same kind of parrot in my home with me right now and I got it from a pet store with legal paperwork stating it was bred in captivity in Florida by a reputable and well-known bird breeder.

The importation of tropical birds has been outlawed here for decades now and there is really no market for it anymore since we breed them here as pets now.

@LOLUMAD725 they don't have the brain capacity to come up with these sounds on their own, bird mimic what they hear in their surroundings. for example. my nanday makes the sound that my dog makes when he is scratching himself, when we watch sanford and son, he repeats "you big dummy" its awesome.
