Nice, I had the pleasure of playing around with a 430 in my GTO as well. I only have headers/catless/tune but the 430 wasn't much faster than me. Their only real advantage is weight, they have slightly more hp and slightly less torque than a LS2 Goat.
1st watched the video & thought shit. Monaro (lets call it what it is) got it. Watched it again, as the Munro nails it, the Ferrari backs off. In order for the Munro to chop a 430 it needs some serious engine mods, so i doubt this slightly worked Munro would pip a Ferrari.
Also, from memory. Ferrari have more often than not been a V8, not a V10 or V12. They look great, but need more go to match their look. As for V8's being the best engine. I'd be hard pressed going past the RB26 DETT engine.

Italians make good Chassis, but they fall short whn making engines.

turbo, supercharged, or procharged what ever you have its not about the revs before hand its about where you want the power. I have a high reving 4 cylinder that has a good midrang/top end power band. when I get it procharged I am going to run a lower boost so that I have the low end covered. Not always about the maximum you can get.

@FerrariDMC first of all, you are right, a GTO was not made to be a track car. Its made for Straight line speed. The GTO is not as heavy as you think it is. A little reasearch shows your 360 to be only 500 pounds lighter but with a 3.6L V8 which may win around a track but in a quarter is no match for 364 cubic inches of Detroit Muscle. your 0-60 time is the same as mine, despite you being lighter. Italians make good Chassis, but they fall short whn making engines.

@bltutorials My 06 6.0 GTO STOCK runs 12.8 in the quarter. i have never seen a cobra run a 12.8. I smoke Cobras all the time. the only thing that gives me a real challenge stock is the charger srt8's I beat one the other day by about 2 feet. It was close.

turbo, supercharged, or procharged what ever you have its not about the revs before hand its about where you want the power. I have a high reving 4 cylinder that has a good midrang/top end power band. when I get it procharged I am going to run a lower boost so that I have the low end covered. Not always about the maximum you can get.

american cars can be quick in a straight line but they cant go round bends- they wallow all over the road! it doesnt take long to get bored of straight line speed. the ZR1 is the first 'quick' US car ever really and that costs twice as much as a stock 'vette! anyone paying 100k for a ZR1 outside the US?- no dont think so for such a poorly built car.

You may look at a drag strip and see a straight ling, but i see a curve. Its called the torque curve and it wants to put you into the wall. theres no replacement for displacement! And ive had euro cars some of the hardest pieces of sh!t to work on. Plus any of those 2 liters making 7,000 HP running a 1/4 in under 4 secs at over 300 MPH
