@bhkidd I'm sure he would rather you call him Mr., Professor, or even Dr. Cornish for all he cares but you calling him Cornish is just disrespectful. And he would tell you that to your face. Mr. Cornish, along with the other well educated members of the MTSU Music Department, are saying that this 2010 BoB is the best that MTSU has ever seen. Mr. Cornish is the nicest and most respectable man I have ever, or will ever meet and you should respect the hard work him and BoB do for this university.
@claytopia3 I really dont care what he would LIKE me to call him. I have no respect for a man that destroyed the BOB, or at least what it used to stand for (discipline and musical precision). I think Ill stick with Cornish for a while. He is a nice guy...way too nice and thinks that flip flops and talking in rehearsal are OK. You should meet Joe Smith and Linda Mitchell sometime. Not near as nice, but outstanding directors who demanded excellence.
@claytopia3 I am a BOB alum, by the way, and it breaks my heart to see the slop the current BOB puts on the field. MTSU is a joke among serious band musicians, like UNA, Jacksonville State, Troy, North Texas, etc. Those bands should be your example, not Tennessee State.

Pure nasty slop. Maybe one of these days, MTSU will fire Cornish and hire a director that will bring the BOB back to precision and polish.
