In the western countries its a big source of tax earning and the gamblers are now turning their move towards the east where due to lack of education and literacy its easy to fool a poor man and get funds released on the name of awards.USA and its allies who for want of funds for destruction of peace on globe encourage the internet gamblers to commit this blunder. As USA is already destroyed as regards its economy and it can be an indirect source of earning money for this purpose.

Ease up on Kentucky. The same type of people run our government and all governments around the world. They don't always do what we like.

Gambling online is no substitute for actually going to a casino or track. The atmosphere is what makes it fun, because in any type of gambling you're likely to leave with less than what you came in with.

It's not right to try and persecute these sites, no matter how crappy they may be. But don't blame the whole state. (Just the southern/eastern part.)

What taxpayer money? Why do you think it costs money to NOT censor the Internet? Didn't you notice Americans for Tax Reform was at the panel, and that it was hosted by the Bluegrass Institute? Surely you recognize them as leading anti-tax groups, don't you?

Besides that, Kentucky has no authority under the Constitution to regulate interstate commerce. And, it's not at all clear that poker is not lawful. PPA filed an amicus brief detailing its belief that poker (online or any other) is not "gambling" as defined under Kentucky law.

So, there's really no need for a new law. All we need is for Beshear to stop is witch hunt.

I don't really like gambling... but I sure as hell wont support taking away competition in gambling... (which is what this is) and I wont support the taking away of people's rights online. Kentucky has no right to stop websites running from outside their state, nor do they have the right, over their free citizens, to stop them from doing whatever they want online.

I've hated Beshear ever since he claimed he would give colleges more funds and thens tripped UK of millions of funds in a budget cut. He's is an imbecile for thinking he can interfere with net neutrality. The Federal Government is having troubles with that, how the hell does he think his state government can?
