  • Shane McGowan has written some of the best songs about London ever. This is my city, the place where I was born. I am 9000 miles away but one day I will return.

  • Thought it could have been a lot seedier mate and more "nocturnal" but some very nice pictures and a cracking song. Shane was/is? a great lyricist. Just needs to stay off the sauce but it doesn't look likely.

  • I like the bit where he sings "You're the measure of my dreams, the measure of my dreams". Such feeling.
