That's why Clinton never bother to deploy troops into Bosnia without a clear exit plan until December 1995 as part of the IFOR.

Also, there were a hell of a lot more than 18 dead Somalis when it was all said and done. The last portion of our time there was dead quiet because the Somalis hunkered down and wouldn't engage. They had enough.

Nothing anywhere close to the scale of what's in Iraq. If the U.S. and other coalition forces had been serious about it there would have been a whole lot more. The difference is that they weren't there to fight a war but keep the thugs you support from terrorizing the citizens of Mogadishu.

There were nearly 170,000 Americans alone in Iraq at it's peak and over 500,000. Somalia has over 9 million people. If America's intention was to declare an all out war there would have been a hell of a lot more than 25,000 troops on the ground. You're obviously completely ignorant.

Had Somalia possibly had nuclear capability and a regime who dared to use it on us or our allies, rest assured, we would still be there too.
